My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Semi-new to Austin but figuring it out. Looking to meet new people.

I'm an explorer, an adventurer, and a writer/dreamer. I love tattoos and loud music scenes. I'm more accepting than you can probably imagine. Japan is awesome, cosplay is even more awesome. I like to get into abandoned/hidden places whenever possible. I have an exit strategy for when the apocalypse comes. Sometimes I play video games. I like burlesque.

I'm looking for new friends, and my future partner-in-crime/love interest. I like my romances to be something you could write a story about.

I'm also extremely straightforward and honest. Ain't nobody got time for games.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I write a lot. I have a few things published and now I'm trying to get into writing for the video game industry. It's pretty important to me!

Most recently, I moved here to Austin for a job with a software company, and that's also pretty rad.

Working on getting a website up as well.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dropping things. I'm not even kidding. Don't even think about handing me a baby.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Cave Johnson's voice following me around giving me life tips would be pretty hard to miss.

I also get "you're shorter than I imagined" quite frequently.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Literature: Alan Moore, Nietzsche, Vonnegut, Cormac McCarthy, Neil Gaiman, Orwell, H.P. Lovecraft, Piers Anthony, Max Brooks. I also frequently get lost in Pablo Neruda prose.

Video Games: Valve and Bethesda die-hard. Love RPGs and games that elevate the art form. Currently I really only play Dota 2 regularly, but I mess around with most of the popular titles at some point. PC gamer only (let's compare rigs, come at me).

Movies: Nerd flicks. Anything by Kevin Smith, Tarantino or Studio Ghibli. I am compelled to watch nearly every superhero movie, Marvel or D.C., but Hellboy ranks among my favorite, if you can call him a superhero (I do). I pretty much worship Guillermo del Toro. I am shamelessly in love with Disney movies.

Shows: My big ones right now are House of Cards and Mad Men. Anime, sometimes.

Music: I dig anything that revives the soul and inspires you to get up and jump around, or alternately sit down and create something beautiful.

Food: I will go to ridiculous lengths to satisfy a sushi or pho craving.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A good hardcover journal to write in
The Force
Yoga pants
Steam. The platform, not the phase of water.
Topo Chico. Seriously, what's in this stuff...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The same thing we think about every night, Pinky.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I rarely have a typical Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I still lose my shit whenever I watch the Fox and the Hound. And that scene in Dumbo. Aaaaaand Grave of the Fireflies. Argh, the feels!
