So as my name suggests, I'm a teacher. I teach middle school history in Philly, and I love my job, but it tends to take up most of my time. That being said, I love to go out on the weekends or just chill and watch a movie/game on the couch. I have a fair amount of friends from high school/college in the area, but I am looking to expand my social circle.

Teaching 7th grade American history and coaching basketball/track. I'm also taking courses towards my masters.

Trivia. I've somehow amassed a really large and eclectic knowledge base of useless facts. I'm always down for Quizzo.

The beard also gets a fair amount of comments.

I really hate this question.

My recent reading habits have been history books for work/school and books my students recommend (Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, etc.). Over the winter I read "Ready Player One" and loved it. If you like dystopian fiction, check it out.

Movies completely depend on my mood, but I will watch anything and probably enjoy it. I just like the stories.

When it comes to TV, I will give any show a chance, but some recent favorites are Game of Thrones, House of Cards, and Walking Dead. All-time favorite might be The West Wing, although I didn't appreciate it until I watched it again after college.

Music is all about mood and I like most genres.

Food? Really? I'll eat anything.

Jeans in the spring/fall, sweatpants/hoodies in the winter, flip flops, my car, my laptop, my phone. Boring and simple.

I also realized that essentially 60% of my t-shirts have a Phillies or other local team logo on them...
