I am amiable, loyal, and feisty.

My Self-Summary

I always feel pretty stupid summarizing myself. You try to be somewhat vague yet personal. Ya don't wanna give too much or too little too fast. Especially when a huge part of it is if people think you're cute or not. This is my first time on one of these sites and to be honest I'm not sure how comfortable I feel with it yet. Oh well, here goes nothin'...
My name has nothing to do with Star Wars, just fyi. It is from one of my favorite L-word quotes back when the show was funny. sooo...
I am a New Orleans girl through and through but have been living in New York for a year now. This basically means I have a lot of pride and passion for great music, expert cuisine, and take drink preparation very seriously. (Don't be fooled by my Pabst Blue Ribbon picture.) All of these things, plus an exquisite history, make up our New Orleans culture and so we live by the phrase "Laissez les Bons Temps Roulez!" or "Let the Good Times Roll!" Following this motto, I avoid taking myself or others too seriously. I'm easy going and laugh pretty much through my entire day, whether caused by one of my ridiculous and inappropriate friends or from my Calvin and Hobbes 20th Anniversary ed. comic strip.
I am attracted to people who aren't too high maintenance, who can go with the flow and yet be decisive. I love to learn new things, new cultures, new hobbies, so if you bring that to the table it's a total turn-on.
I am one of six children in my family which means I know how to share, how to wrestle, and how to draw mustaches on your face while you are sleeping.
OK, see I'm going way past the definition of summary so I'll wrap it up by saying I'm a lot of fun, I'm honest, I'm short, and just so you know... Red Fraggle stole my career.

What I’m doing with my life

Ha. Rhymin' and Stealin'!

I’m really good at

I am an excellent cook in my own kitchen, a kick-ass bartender, a Bobby Fisher Chess Player, reading....I can read most words. lol. I sing, and not just in the shower. I can quote movies like you wouldn't believe! I'm really good at tripping, falling, putting my foot in my mouth or just embarrassing myself in anyway. I am an awesome little sister, and an even better friend. I'm really good at finding the positive side of things.

The first things people usually notice about me

They hear my big mouth first I would assume. Then probably see my dimples and notice my eyes get really tiny, almost closed when I smile.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Ok I don't care how old I get my favorite book will always be To Kill a Mockingbird and has been since the third grade! I also love Nine Lives, the entire Thomas Harris series, Herland, Me (the autobiography of Katharine Hepburn, and I dunno what else it changes week to week.

Movies: The Philadelphia Story, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, To Sir With Love, Saving Face, Waiting for Guffman, Some Like it Hot, When Harry Met Sally, Roxanne.

Music:Let me just say I'm eclectic otherwise we'll be here all day.

Food: New Orleans/ Southern Style of course, but Italian runs a close second because of my Sicilian heritage. I also love love love Sushi...unfortunately not a drop of Japanese in me though.

The six things I could never do without

1. Family
2. Friends
3. Tampons
4. Books
5. Some form of music(give me an Ipod or a drum, I don't care, just something)
6. Golden Girls re-runs

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Home...My family and friends back home.
My next step: How do I get to where I want to be in the next couple of years.
Friends and love life....who I am interested in at the time. Not obsessing..they just happen to be on my mind.
Things I want to improve about myself.
whatever it is my friends are saying to me at that moment.

And always always....the Lyrics to Yaz's "Only You"

On a typical Friday night I am

Any of the following: Throwing a dinner party that ends up on my roof. Having game night with the crew...I am a Balderdash Champion! Keeping it low-key with a movie night. At the pub with the usual trouble-makers. Like I said...up for whatever.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I dunno, sorry guess I'm not that crazy or interesting. Nothin' scandalous enough to tell. I'll come back to it if I think of anything note worthy.

You should message me if

You are single, and don't have any crazy exes who want to attack me for talking to you(had trouble with that in the past)

You are willing to dance. I don't care if you suck. I just want someone who is willing to have some fun.

You are incredibly sarcastic and have a silly, random, and endless sense of humor.

You just want to have some fun conversation and make a new friend.
