I am weird, creative, and focused.

My Self-Summary

Hello there. I like outer space, fictional robots, knitting hideous yellow socks, and long walks on the beach. :P

I'm starting to use this account again because my friend talked me into it. Used to only use this thing for the internet memes. But... now I actually want to meet people.

I am pretty weird.

I'm an artist.
DeviantART: http://yonjuunana.deviantart.com/
Webcomic (updates Sundays): http://www.spaceexplorercomic.com/

I really love art, comics, animation, science fiction, creativity, original fiction writing... I'd love to meet other people in the area who are into that sort of thing. Fiction is a huge part of my life. My fictional people tend to develop lives of their own, to the point where one has his own livejournal, e-mail address, and is friends with some of my friends. I think the fourth wall is dead around here. Where does imagination end and multiple personalities begin?

I am also an obsessive knitter/crocheter. http://knitcrochet47.blogspot.com/

I am autistic and interested in disability rights/advocacy, neurodiversity and psychology.

Despite all the weirdness and my love of subjective reality, I am an atheist skeptic and spend way too much time analyzing why I do what I do. I like science.

I'm also mostly asexual, highly introverted, not very social, and not good at casual dating. I'd like to meet people with similar interests, other artists, people to talk to online... If I do get into a relationship, I want to be close friends with the person first. Otherwise it's not going to work out.

If I take a while to get back to your messages, or don't feel like chatting, don't take it personally. I don't always have the energy for it, and I'm not sure how often I'll be logging in to this site. I get a LOT of messages here and I really don't have the time or energy to respond to everything, sorry.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently working full-time at a really boring data entry job in downtown Seattle. Because I need to eat.

I spend a lot of the rest of my time drawing, working on my webcomic, knitting, writing, making dolls out of broken appliances, trying to build web communities that blur the line between fiction and reality, that sort of thing.

I've also worked on art for computer games. My dad and I have been trying to start a small game company. www.chipwits.com is our first project. Still in Beta.

I’m really good at

Drawing, knitting, crochet, writing.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm pretty quiet. Not good at talking, much more fluent when I write.

Somebody recently described me as "quiet, peaceful and stealthlike".

Also probably the scarves. I'm almost always wearing a hand-knit scarf. Unless it's summer, because I do not wish to die of heatstroke.

Or the long fingernails.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Book: The Cyberiad, by Stanislaw Lem

Movie: The Last Unicorn

Show: Mythbusters

Music: The Eels

Food: Pumpkin pie!

The six things I could never do without

Imagination.
Written communication ability.
Music.
Too much yarn.
Internet.
Coffee.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Fictional worlds and people. I've got two major stories that I've been working on, hoping to turn them both into comics eventually. The first one is nearly done being written and in the process of being drawn (www.spaceexplorercomic.com), the second is about robots and I'm still trying to figure out where it's going.

...

If multiplicity is the experience of having more than one mind in a body, and soulbonding is a subset of multiplicity that involves feeling an intense connection to a fictional character, feeling their presence, talking to them, etc... As an atheist, I believe god is fictional. So does this mean that some ridiculously large percentage of the Earth's population has soulbonded God, and is therefore on the multiple spectrum?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am actually an android from outer space. This explains a lot about me.

You should message me if

You are deeply into fiction, subjective reality, inner worlds, art, writing, creativity. Not just if you're into it as a hobby, I'm looking for people where it's a huge part of their life.

Do you have an overactive imagination? Do fictional people talk to you? Are you multiple? Are you yourself an imaginary person? Talk to me. :)
