My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi - I've met someone! And as of December 2014, we're hitting it off pretty well. So, please ignore my profile. I'm not looking.

To those of you wondering if meeting someone online can "work"... I wondered the same thing, and the answer is: it can work, and does work. I met a number of people, none of whom were quite "right". I was starting to get discouraged, before I found someone that just clicked with me. Keep trying!

I'm a divorced father of 4. I like cool girls, smart people, and exploring places people ideas experiences. I take care of myself, and others, physically, emotionally, spiritually. I'm looking for new friends, adult companionship.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My vocation, until the kids are older, is fatherhood, and it takes a lot of my time and attention. To support my fatherhood habit, I work for a software startup; I work hard and have fun doing it. Those are the two "big rocks" that go into the jar of my life first. When I'm not being a father or working, I do other stuff that elevates me - usually moving around, discovering, or fixing stuff.

I like to keep in shape and I love being outside. So I run or bike or walk or do something, pretty much every day, rain or shine, winter or summer. Weather is just an experience.

I bought a dirtbike last year and enjoyed it so much i bought another motorcycle, a street bike, in April. It's quite a kick. The wind, the noise, the acceleration, the demand for focus and attention - it's all very stimulating.

I love the PNW. We're so fortunate to have this area.

I love to read. I like classic novels. Melville, Fitzgerald, London, Faulkner, Vonnegut, and Hemingway. Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky.
Almost anything by Martin Amis. Obscurely, i like e.e.cummings. I also like non-fiction; I read biographies.

I love movies. Anything with explosions and car chases is usually on my shortlist. Anything by the Coen Brothers. I thought "The Other Guys" was funny.
I like documentaries too.

Not much of a fan of glitzy Broadway shows, but I do enjoy live theater in small settings. So close to the actors...

I don't watch much TV....except for auto racing.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Dark chocolate, woolie boolie socks, running shoes, kalamata olives, a good book.... And one more thing ...
