My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm the most gentlemanly, polite, caring, thoughtful, down to earth, stubborn judgmental asshole you'll ever meet. Summarize that.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Laboring and loving it... With my free time I'm working on flipping my house, from the profits I hope to start flipping houses as a career. And learning to have fun without alcohol.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Understanding things, listening, observing, reporting, hand/eye coordination, playing bass, playing pool, seeing through bullshit... i give pretty good directions too.
The first things people usually notice about me

My beard and my laugh...

I don't perform a whole lot of maintenance on my beard. I would rather let it grow naturally than have to shave every day. Plus for some reason I don't grow any other hair on my face, so I don't have to shave at all.

The best way I can explain my laugh is adaptive. I think I sort of take on certain qualities of the laughter of people I'm laughing with. Maybe thats why people like it... it's their laugh they like. I like to think i have a good sense of humor too, so when something is funny I can't help but express my appreciation for it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Uh... sci fi.

Movies: I've seen more movies than I'm proud of. I am fortunate enough to live without cable TV or internet, so all my viewing materials come from the public library... most of which are movies. As far as good films go, I like every Coen brothers films I've seen. There are a lot of good foreign and independent films that should be given much more exposure to the dumbed down American audience. For example; "Hate" "Exiled" and "Chop Shop." I've seen way too many movies to recall all the great ones I've seen, but I'm not too much of a "man" to admit that many movies have moved me to the point of tears.
I have a particular affection towards post apocalyptic movies. Basically anything that follows that premise catches my attention. For example, "The Road" "Book of Eli" "Mad Max" "Water World" "The Postman" I really like sci-fi movies, obviously, and I have to admit I have a soft spot in my heart for b rated sci-fi movies. Most of all the post apocalyptic sci-fi movies I love zombie movies. I'm pretty sure I've seen at least 90% of the zombie movies that have been made. I particularly like George A. Romero's movies, and the remakes of his movies.
I can't forget old west movies either. Anything with Clint Eastwood kicks ass.

Shows: I LOVE LARRY DAVID. I can connect with his sense of humor more than anyone else. I'm primarily familiar with "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Both of which I could watch to no end. I like a lot of comedies like "Arrested Development" "Parks and Recreation" "Modern Family" "King of Queens" and old stuff like "Cheers" "Frasier" "Kids In the Hall"
I have also been getting into the more action/drama oriented shows. For example; "Lost" "24" and "Heroes"
As far as zombies go, I can't wait until "The Walking Dead" comes out on DVD... Considering the fact I don't have cable.

Music: Where do I start? Music in my opinion is one of the greatest accomplishments of mankind. I love the blues. I like rock, punk, folk, jazz, soul, rap, country, classical, some indie, some emo, some electronica or techno. I basically have interest in any music that is... well... good. You'll have to ask me about particular bands, there are way too many to start naming.

Food: Indian, Chinese, American, Italian, Mexican... I do appreciate food more than most. I've been trying to cook more, but I don't really know where to start. I do make a mean vegetarian lasagna though. I am pretty picky about the texture of food though. I don't do soup, stew, mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed vegetables... Nothing mushy or slimy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music: I listen to music every chance I get. Walking, working, cooking, cleaning, writing, relaxing, driving. I absolutely love music, and I love making it. I play the bass, and love to make music with my friends. Some day I hope to change society's views and tastes of music all together. Maybe that is just a pipe dream... but a man can dream, right?

Movies: Like I said earlier, I don't have TV or the internet, so movies are one of my main forms of entertainment.

Gin: Actually, I'll have to think of a new one here. Apparently I can live without it, and it turns out my life is much better without it. Maybe one of the six things I couldn't do without should be staying alcohol free. It is poison after all...

Good friends: Quality over quantity right? I sometimes consider myself a bit of a loner, but can't deny my need to connect with the few close friends I have. My best friend died too recently and too soon and I miss him more than anything I could possibly know. I consider his influence on my life with every action and thought I make. R.I.P. Colin...

Good food: I think I've already gone into food as deeply as I need to. I love to cook, I just need to learn more recipes. I think I'm addicted to chocolate soy milk...

Women: What is there to say? God's gift to man... I love women of all shapes and sizes. Don't get me wrong Though, I Primarily look past the physical.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much better the world could be if anyone gave a shit. And... how to survive the zombie apocalypse.

This earth could be paradise. I have the utmost confidence in that fact. However, I have little to no confidence in the human race. I feel like animals are more pure, innocent, and righteous than we will ever be. I know they'd be better off without us interfering. I doubt it will ever happen, but once people forget about their own petty and selfish desires, and start considering the well being of the rest of the planet, we could all live in peace. I won't get into it on this page though, I could go on for hours. Before the majority of society changes its fundamental views of the world, I feel like a huge disaster is going to change them for us. The selfish part of me hopes it will be a zombie apocalypse. I'll have a chance of surviving it...
