I'm a walking-breathing-talking Shazam app, I'll know random songs.
AND how young I look for my age. I guess it's a blessing and a curse. Some relatives still think I'm in highschool. To this I say, "Hey lady, 24 going on 25 AND already graduated from university".
Shows: Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Bob's Burgers (I believe Tina Belcher is loosely based on me. Friends can agree. She may just be my spirit animal. My favourite quote by her so far is "I’m no hero. I put my bra on one boob at a time like everyone else". Yes, that is something I would say), Archer, Arrested Development, The Soup, Community (Pop pop!), SNL (I stay up and watch hoping it will be good but I'm always let down), Flight of the Conchords (I have all their songs on my ipod, and I start smiling like a weirdo on the bus once one is playing), True Blood, Conan, The Simpsons, ill watch anything on TLC (ok not everything...I draw the line at Long Island Medium. Why is that lady's hair so big? And that Honey Boo Boo show. She was pretty funny in Toddler and Tiaras but I can only take her in small dosages...not a half an hour episode).
Music: way too many to list, but according to my ipod...my top artists would be:
Childish Gambino, Jessie Ware, Arctic Monkeys, Interpol, Amy Winehouse, The Killers (I need to give them love to this day. Even though I'm not a fan of the new stuff. There's a special connection. Message me if you want to know), Franz Ferdinand, Kanye West, Angel Haze, Kendrick Lamar, Gorillaz (amazing live. Damon Albarn, I am not worthy!), Neon Indian, Blur (also Graham Coxon's solo stuff), Oasis, Grizzly Bear, Foster The People, Outkast, Toro y Moi, Hot Chip, The Hives, Jay Z, Beyonce (I bow down to her), Phoenix, Friendly Fires, Theophilous London (met him after his show, he gave me a hug as a thank you for coming to his show. Aww it was nothing),Major Lazer (so far the best show I've been to this year, if you like jumping up and down and acting like a fool), Daft Punk (I have every single song, remix ever made by them. I secretly wish they would take me on as a 3rd member. They won't regret it), Frank Ocean, Iggy Azealia, Miguel, Lana Del Rey (not live of course, yikes!) Azealia Banks, A$AP Rocky, Muse...and thats all that I can think of right now. But I'm always looking for good music and I'll take recommendations but I'll draw the line at Taylor Swift. Aint nobody got time for that. I can't leave out classic 90's music that my sisters would listen to which sticks with to this day, like The Smiths (I know they weren't 90's but that's when they discovered it), wu tang, weezer, salt n pepper, etc. You are bound to find me at Girl&Boy 90s dance parties on Fridays...if I don't work the next morning.
2. my sketchbook
3. my pillow
5. highlighters (its a school thing)
6. pizza...with jalapeno cheese dip
I didn't think I was going to be able to fill this out. Thanks okcupid for making me look like a little materialistic. Just a little.
-can I find this movie/show on netflix (which tends to never happen because I have the Canadian one)
-whatever happened to (actor/actress)?
-do I have this on DVD? (which I end up buying, and I DO have on DVD. I was stuck with a DVD set of season 4 of Mad Men for the longest time. You can never have enough Don Draper.)
-why didn't I pay attention on my 3rd grade field trip to the Cadbury chocolate factory? Apparently I missed the Caramilk secret.
-what Songza playlist did I hear that song on? (I have a notebook in my room just for songs I hear off songza to later download them)
That I can do the Nicki Minaj rap from "Monster". Amazing, right? That was around that time when I didn't find her completely annoying.
And that I still have a binder of Pokemon cards. My sister taped the holographic cards shut so I wouldn't get my hands on them. They'll be worth something one day!
OH NO! I've said too much!
