I'm a nerd who likes to escape his desk, I haven't had an actual desk in ages actually.
I grew up in the north east in a small town outside of Boston, MA. I made my way west, going to school for environmental science then cooking in the mountains in Wyoming for a spell and hitchhiking across the country, worked on a farm and a wolf sanctuary and moved to Oakland to learn to cook. I worked as a line cook for a while at a couple of East Bay restaurants and now have a bizarre and wonderful job making Italian prosciutto, sausage and salami in Oakland, CA. Strangely this is the closest I've ever come to being hired for my college degree. I try to pretend I'm a grown up, but I'll be jumping in puddles before you know it.
