I am intelligent, capable, and humorous.

My Self-Summary

I'm a programmer. I love my work. Now if only somebody would pay me for doing it. I read a lot. (see the books, movies, music, and food section) I like sports cars. I like sex. I like the outdoors. I like music. (same as above see the books, movies, music, and food section)

If you are an OCF person in good (or bad!) standing. I've stumbled in at the OCF approximately 36 times or so... I once upon a time did Appropriate Tech, Community Village, Cooked, Sat booth, Tripped (before the Universe was here there wasn't nothin'!) Danced (you know the drummers are on it when you start watching the 'other girls' dance!) & Security!!

What I’m doing with my life

I'm writing an application for creating maps (highly detailed maps). For use in photogrammetrics, aerial mapping, terrian modeling and mass surveying. I love this kind of work. Technical and math intensive. The chance to work with 3D spacial data processing attracted me to this project also. I've been into 3D modeling for a long time. Now I only have time to write the programs but not use them... ;)

I’m really good at

Programming computers. Troubleshooting computers. Anything mechanical. Abstract logic. Mathematics. Physics. Quantum physics. Botany. Information retrieval. Research. Computer art. Photo restoration. Mechanical engineering. Partying. Music. Cooking. Shopping (or so I've been told...). And helping my friends in any way that I can. I've been known to let myself into a friends house at 5:00 am walk into their bedroom, sit down on the bed and poke 'em a couple times while saying, 'when ya getting up??'. So naturally I am somewhat flexible when they express their eclectic eccentricities...

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know. I think it depends in part on the person doing the noticing. I'll often tell you more than you wanted to know when asked a question. (of the request for information type...)
But I am thorough.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I read a lot. Hundreds of books.

Here is some of the fiction:

Steven Brust! - Brust writes as awesome series of books about an assassin named VLad, the characters are so well developed and his setting of ambiance is incredible.

Raymond Feist! - Well what can I say about Feist, his epic tale of the lives of the wizard Pug and Mara the mistress of the family Acoma of the empire Tsuranuanni where he weaves their life stories (and the stories of many of their associates) together in ways that have truly blown my mind!

Rand Miller - Miller? God consciousness! If you want to know read the Myst trilogy! Or contact me I'd love to discuss his work.

Martha Wells - Wells is a young author that has written only a few books so far but she is great! Read 'The Wizard Hunters'

Diane Duane - big time Star Trek novel author.

Dean Koontz - to many to mention (and he writes under LOTS of pen names).

Marion Zimmer Bradley - Ms. Bradley is no longer with us on this plane. When I read her work I wonder if she ever really was...

Terry Brooks - just finished Brooks latest book, when he's good he's very good.

Peter David! - love Peter David he is one of the best Star Trek novel authors - Peter has written the Star Trek series 'New Frontier' this is what the next Star Trek television series should be based on! If they don't they're idiots...

Terry Goodkind!! - Goodkind, again God consciousness, if you like huge epics then 'Sword of Truth' is a must read! (these are the books the new television series 'Sword of the Seeker' is based on...)

Carl Sagan - read 'Contact'

Dean Alan Foster - Love Pip and Flinx! and all the other 'Commonwealth' tales.

Jean Auel - everyone has read Auel's epics of life 30,000 years ago right?

Ken Kesey - READ DEMON BOX! (enough said?)

Kurt Vonnegut - read EVERYTHING (the man survived the bombing of Dresden...)

Mark Twain - well in Clemense's own words, 'I'm not an American, I'm THE American...'

Tom Wolfe - ah, the 'Electric Koolaid Acid Test'...

William Gibson - one word, ' Necromancer'

Douglas Adams - we've all read his 'Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy' right? (the mice did it... oh, or was it the rats? heh!)

Larry Niven - Niven lives in a very big universe, 'Ringworld', very big...

just to name a few...

These are the bands I've seen live:

Dreams

Oregon

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Quantum physics - Metaphysics - Cosmology - Astronomy - Botany - Sex - Buddhism - Change - Optimism - Pessimism - Creation - Creative Sex...

On a typical Friday night I am

Working or sleeping or watching PBS.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I made love in the middle of the gardens at Crater Lake, in the middle of summer in the middle of the day. Ah some say that, youth 'tis wasted on the young... I didn't waste all of it!

You should message me if

You liked my profile. You're not in a big rush all the time. You like pastels more than primaries. You like someone that can make you laugh (sometimes literally). You think that you are insatiable... ;)
