Hey there! I'm Zach.

I've graduated from ITT Technical Institute in Earth City, MO. I received an associates degree in graphics communications, but I'm now taking courses at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville for Computer Management and Systems Information.

I'm a pretty big dork, and I have an enormously dry/sarcastic sense of humor!

As I said, at the moment I'm going to school at SIUE. I'll be done hopefully in two or three years, barring no problems between then and now. I work on campus as well at the Lovejoy Library Help Desk, and I absolutely love my job.

Problem solving, be it with people or things.

I'm good at listening to other peoples' issues (not just the person I'm dating), and providing alternate views on subjects, while still being sincere about the others' point of view. I'm pretty good at trying to look at situations unbiasedly, which a lot of my friends seem to appreciate.

I'm also reliable just because of my structured/habitual nature.

I also seem to have a natural talent of finding humor in all things, even when it isn't really called for. Woops!

I'm not sure if I've ever asked anyone, but the easiest thing for me to think of is my eyes. They are normally hard to see because I have to squint a lot due to light sensitivity, but they are a bright blue.

Favorite books are probably anything that is sci-fi or fantasy:
Leviathan, Warhammer, Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, World War Z, Day by Day Armageddon.

I have way too many favorite movies to name, as I'm a pretty big movie buff; however, I really like most kinds of movies, from the silly humor to the serious thriller!

50 First Dates, Prometheus, Spaceballs, Star Wars, Star Trek, The Terminator, Princess Bride, Pulp Fiction, The Holiday, Alien, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, Inception, In the Mouth of Madness.

I watch quite a few T.V. shows as well, both live action and animated:

Family Guy, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Death Note, Gundam, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Bones.

Man, now to music. I'll go easy on this one. It'd be easier to answer what I don't listen to, really. When it comes down to it, if I hear it playing - I'll listen to it. I know that sounds silly, but that's how it is. Worst case scenario is that I'll just give the radio a weird look!

Food.. eh. I'm kind of picky when it comes to food, I don't mind eating the same thing every day really.

My computer! Oh god, life without technology would be terrifying.

My good friends, they've supported me when nobody else would.

I could never do without the internet. I'm pretty sure I would go through physically painful withdrawals at this point!

My bed, because it's comfy as all hell and serves as a couch when need be. It's pretty much a transformer. Except softer.

Air conditioning, because.. gross, heat.

Caffeine, I wouldn't be able to function in the morning otherwise.

I spend a lot of time thinking about pet projects that I work on for fun. I'm designing my own pen and paper based game at the moment, and in the future I would absolutely love to have it published - but it's a long way off still.

I spend a lot of time thinking about what I'm going to do after school, but I always come to the conclusion that that is a while away.

On a typical Friday night I'm either hanging out with my friends playing games (usually board games, not video games), doing homework or possibly the best thing... cuddled up in my bed watching a movie late at night.

Yes, that may make me seem tame - but I'm okay with that. I like my calm evenings. :)

I tend not to go out a lot because I don't drink, and I'm usually extremely busy during the week. So if I can I try to relax, I normally don't get time to! :(

While my profile may not give the 'feeling' off, I'm incredibly shy, and really anxious sometimes!
