My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
(Version the Second, somewhat bit poetic, in threeeesies)

Life is easy to poke fun at, especially in dark moments.
Laughter makes the world go around.
Laughter gets you through everything.

I'm ferociously in love with my two kids.
Then they shriek and run away from me, giggling.

I like hearing music and watching tv shows
I like creating concepts and form for films
And I like social drinks & dancing wherever needed.

I fight with writing and/or creating.
They like to gang up on me and beat me down,
but The Muse puts them back in place.

Conversations are beloved, especially when oft topic'd
Don't mind learning? Then here's a thought.
Chat with me! Wah-lah!

However, beware the giggle chat
For I have a tendancy towards a little thing called goofy ...
I can't help it. I heart me some laughter.

See some colour that lights up where you haven't noticed before?
Then that's something to follow.
Find where it goes.

Maybe you'll see me wave.

I am a dad, like to raawwr, and love giggle fits
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Attempting to live and redefine it like any good huperson (Yes. Huperson. Human is passe and Huwoman don't cut the jibe. Huperson it is.)

Which leads into trying to teach myself to play guitar. *sigh* This is the equvalent of trying to get ... uh ... something to do something that's like something. Know what I'm sayin'?

Well me neither. I just can't get my fingers to work the frets proper.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. BRANDON SMASH!! (but not the guitar. Tis too meaningful to me.)

Otherwise I'm working a job I 80% enjoy and raising my two kids when they're at my place!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Openess & honesty.
Rolling my eyes.
Various styles of double takes.
Puns. (Punnage rules.)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Honestly? No clue.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favourite movies: (tis to name but a few) - Stardust; Lord of the Rings (all 3 parts); The American President; Being There; 2001: A Space Odyssey; (500) days of Summer ; Joe vs. The Volcano; Shaun of the Dead; The Boy Who Could Fly; Wall-E; The Muppet Christmas Carol; The Incredibles; Serenity; Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog; Harvey; Lawrence of Arabia; A Man for All Seasons; Citizen Kane; Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit; Lady in the Water; The Princess Bride ...

Favourite books: The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett; The Wood Wife by Terri Windling; the Harry Potter series; The Princess Bride by William Goldman; The Shadow War books by Chris Claremont; books by Clive Barker; and I'm discovering the magic writing of Neil Gaiman. And how in the universe could I forget Douglas Addams?

Favourite Music: lots. LOL ... Not a big fan of soul, gospel or hip-hop/rap, unfortunately. I can appreciate some aspects of them, but my heart lies with rock, really. But I can't resist a good pop tune, either. But for specific names ... Emm Gryner, Duran Duran, Enya, Sneaker Pimps (first album), Blur, Peter Gabriel, My Sister Ocean, My Brilliant Beast to name a few.

Favourite foods: Pepperoni pizza; Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia; a good side salad; Ham & Swiss Cheese sandwiches; Spicy Italian subs from Subway; steak (yes, I'm a meat eater); bananas; strawberries; oranges; carrots.

And though it's not on here ...

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Six things? BAH to six things!! BAH I SAY!!

Movies. Books. Friendship. Music. Honesty. Openess.

Most importantly, my two kids - whom I love whole-heartedly and without reservation.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Truth is I think a lot. And I mean a lot. There's only two things that I've ever done in my life that I don't think of more than what I'm immediately doing. One is drafting (as in architectural/design) ... and the other is something I'll reveal later. ;)

I also think about humour and the nature of it. The English language allows for so much in the way of humourous play that it's, well, humourous.

I also ponder, probably too often, at the daftness/stupidty that humanity can be ... :(
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home if I'm by myself, generally watching dvds or writing ... or happily at home if I have my kids that night.

However, on the Friday nights I'm not with my kids, I'd certainly like to be doing more!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
(It's so private that it's hard to read!)
