Presently? Wandering aimlessly but determinedly towards what might be an eventual destination. I'd like to be more involved with writing, but alas, that particular profession doesn't exactly rake in the dough, and I tend to space out after a few minutes in front of a keyboard.

My quirky sense of humor, easygoing nature, and love of fun. Also, I'm kinda shy in person, having spent far too many of my formative years in front of one shiny screen or another. Also, my conversational language is far more casual than this; I just feel the need to sound smart when writing things that aren't IM'd.

I love music. My favorite bands = The Format (forever my #1 favorite band), The Dresden Dolls, Phoenix, Modest Mouse, Lupe Fiasco, Rise Against, Fleet Foxes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Spoon, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, Muse, The National, Gorillaz, Arcade Fire, Hot Chip, Band of Horses, Silversun Pickups, etc. Jesus Christ, I could fill up this entire page with just bands I like, so let's just say I dig a lot of different stuff. I like to be open-minded about my musical tastes, but I generally refuse to listen to top-40 radio; something about manufactured, instantly-consumed and instantly-forgotten music fails completely to interest me in even the tiniest amount.

Books: World War Z, Picture of Dorian Gray, Game of Thrones (trendy! But also a thing I legit dig right now)

Movies: Anchorman, Shortbus.

TV Shows: The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, Boondocks, Family Guy, The Colbert Report, Deep Space 9, Adventure Time (though I've only seen the first season)

Doing something incredibly exciting and adventurous, and in no way sitting on my ass in front of my computer like I do every day.
