I come across as a straight-edged, smart, and genuinely kind guy. All of that's true -- but I also have a bit of a goofy side, and have a sarcastic/snarky edge that you'll see if you get to know me better.

I grew up and went to undergrad in the greater-NYC area. I worked for a few years after college, and am now living in Brooklyn in my last year at NYU Law School. I've loved law school, and I'll be clerking for a federal judge after graduation in May (and no, clerking does not mean I'll be brewing coffee -- or at least I hope not). I work hard, and I take my work seriously, but I also like to have fun and try not to let my work consume me.

Being an almost-lawyer.

Coming up with a plan. That goes for travel, dates, nights out with friends, and life in general.

Also, learning foreign languages and being a good listener.

I've been told I've got a good smile. You can be the judge of that.

Food: Literally anything. I'm a pretty big foodie, and will try just about anything once.

I could probably do without most of these things, but here's a list of things that I love:

- Baseball (I'm a Yankees fan, but more generally I just love the sport.)
- Exploring new bars and restaurants around NYC
- Fall weather (the crisp 50 degree weather in mid-October, not the cold and rainy crap in late November)
- Coffee (I'm a little bit of a coffee snob.)
- International travel (top destination so far: China, and currently planning a trip to SE Asia in August)
- Pretending I can cook (some times this goes better than others)
- Running (ran a half marathon in February, would like to do more)
- Live music - going to as many shows as possible, preferably outdoors
- My family (I'm pretty close with my parents and younger brother, who lives in San Francisco)

Trying out new restaurants/bars around the city, usually in search of a great whiskey-based cocktail.
