My self-summary
I'm a restless soul. For a few years, I moved to a new country every three months. These days I put this energy towards creative projects.
What I’m doing with my life
Not being a workaholic, if only by force of will. I explore my need to feel accomplished with a myriad of other activities. Mostly, this means crafting things for my friends. I'm aways carving out time from working in Startuplandia to sketch, read, write, walk, and see where my feet take me.
I’m really good at
What an awkward question...

I guess "creating good habits." Like smiling at random people. And meditating. And other random things like that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books, scifi and fiction: Dune by Frank Herbert and the Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss are my favorites. Anything by Brandon Sanderson; his world building is 2nd to none. Narnia and Enders Game will always have a place in my heart. Stranger in a Strange Land, the Wool series, Daemon/Freedom, WIRED/AMPED, Brave New World, Song of Ice and Fire, etc. all are good, too.

Books, science: "Thinking, Fast and Slow" "Where Good Ideas Come From", anything by the Heath brothers, Quiet: the Secret Power of Introverts, "Give and Take: A Revolution...", "I Am a Strange Loop" (or, the original GEB is even better), Big Data, the Social Animal, the Talent Code, Brain on Fire, Drive, the Power Surge, and a lot more...

Books, historical fiction: the Pillars of the Earth, Les Misérables, a Tale of Two cities, the Last Kingdom (and anything else by Bernard Cornwell)

Books, misc: Mans Search for Meaning, Walden, Mortality, Guns Germs & Steel, On the Road, etc.

TV/Movies: TED talks, Downton Abbey, Battlestar Galactica, the Newsroom, the Borgias, Kings, Game of Thrones, and of course the Daily Show + Colbert Report.

Music: I'm all over the map, though I tend towards stuff without words when I'm working.

Food: any restaurant with some flavor or combination I have not thought to try.
The six things I could never do without
I've sold all my worldly possessions more than once in my life... but I couldn't do without the intangibles, like old friends and new experiences.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Strange Loops (see: Douglas Hofstadter)
Givers and Takers (see: Adam Grant)
The Red Queen Hypothesis (see: Lewis Carroll)
On a typical Friday night I am
Seeking inspiration.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I absolutely love the early morning. Sunrise in a quiet city is a very personal daily dose of beauty.
