Should freedom of speech allow the expression of all viewpoints, even extreme and widely-offensive ones?

So, I've actually been thinking about this lately. Personally, I believe that even the �bullshit� opinions of the KKK, Neo-Nazis, and even the Westboro Baptist Church should not have their right to freedom of speech taken away. The main reason for this being, once their freedom is taken away, it opens the door to other, legitimate, free speech to be restricted. I feel that one of the most important parts of freedom, of liberty, of being American, is to freely express your opinions. And a part of that is being able and willing to deal with ridiculous things that others say� just felt like journaling this�

My result is the �Mixing bag�� apparently because I may go home with a girl the first night I meet her, but would feel awkward about fucking her, I don�t know what I want. This is an interesting question... and I wish I had an answer. I feel that the logical part of me wants to believe that it can be rebuilt in time. However, at the same time the emotional part of me is hoping that even when all trust is lost, there is still hope for me to be able to trust again.

If you haven't guessed yet, I was recently in a relationship that did not end well. Certain actions the other person did made me lose all trust in them. Now they are trying to become a part of my life again and hoping to be able to bring me back. The problem with that is, I'm not sure if I can trust them. In my heart, I want to be able to, but at the same time... I'm not sure if I will ever be able to trust them again.

Imagine that your significant other is traveling and has the opportunity to stay with a good friend. This good friend also happens to be someone who your significant other finds to be very attractive. What would be your stance on this situation?
