Hi! My name is Zac. Never sure what to say here. I'm a nerdy nice guy, a deep thinker and a good listener. More than that, though. I like to make my own adventures, get out and DO. I want to travel (more). I like to try new things - I think that's why we're here, don't you?

I'm a Financial Services Specialist 3. That means I work for Washington State. And yup, in a welfare office.
I really like having an impact. Every day I look forward to reminding myself about the need in our community and my role in making things better. Though - it is a challenge to remember sometimes and honestly, my "impact" is not always as positive as I'd like.
I have a lot of plans for jumping into this or that: I'd love to learn to ride a horse, improve my Spanish, pick up a martial art, etc. I read a lot.

I love to draw. People always seem to know what I'm drawing - and I suppose that sets me apart.
I also pay a lot of attention to music - I guess you could say I'm an audiophile. I can usually get a "feel" for someone's tastes and suggest a new song of artist - like a living version of Pandora.
I'm good with math and computers. I'm an Excel Wizard.
But that's hardly anything I want to emphasize here, :)

I'm pretty tall - 6'3". I'm just a big guy. Beyond that, I usually sport a rather bushy beard - but I know that's a deal breaker for some (maybe most) women and honestly, I'm just about ready to show my face to the world again.

After getting to know me, people often remark about my unique outlook and/or sense of humor. I've been accused of being good company.

I like to read novels with likable main characters - fantasy and science fiction, basically.
J.K. Rowling/Jim Butcher/Patricia Briggs, etc.

I love movies that touch you deep - so long as they're still fun.
(Some movies are so fun they're actually deep.)
(Some movies are so deep they're actually a waste of time.)
Casablanca/Groundhog Day/Meet Joe Black/Star Trek/Lost Kingdom. Um ... lots more.

I like TV shows with characters! People with depth, story arcs, etc.
I prefer shows that stay upbeat.

I LOVE music. I like hooks. Music should ALWAYS have a fun way of pulling your attention over to what you're hearing.
Vampire Weekend/Mumford & Sons/Gogol Bordello/Eels/Spoon, etc.

I like foods of all sorts. I like to expand my horizons. I usually order the thing I haven't tried yet.
