My job takes me to India frequently and I have developed a real affection for it. Fantastic food, great people, incredible history. India is crazy and exhausting but I don't think there is any place more fascinating. India is great for people who don't worry too much about planning since nothing there ever works out according to plan anyway. But, usually the alternative outcome makes for a more memorable travel experience.
In addition to India, I have been to about 25 other countries - most of Europe, Australia, a bit of Africa and South America. I don't think there is anywhere I have been that I didn't enjoy and would gladly return. I love photography and usually select my travel destinations to provide the best opportunities for picture taking.
I tend to be very adventurous and enjoy a lot of different activities - mostly anything outdoors. I love hiking and have climbed mountains in Tasmania, New Zealand, Norway, Austria, Poland, and all over the States. I also enjoy camping and kayaking. I love sailing, although I don't get as many opportunities as I would like. I also enjoy scuba diving and usually get in the water at least a couple times per year as part of a trip somewhere nice - like Hawaii, Grand Cayman, Curacao, and Australia.
I am a fairly good cook and enjoy home improvement projects around my house.
I love pets. I have a cat and a golden retriever time share - I have a good friend who works odd hours and lets me borrow two goldens regularly. I have owned goldens in the past and plan to again soon.
