My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am an alcoholic, though a functional one that maintains employment, friendships, and family superbly. With cold logic and biting sarcasm, I was thrust into this world, and through cold logic and biting sarcasm I will probably be forced from it. I have a diverse army of loyal friends that understand the universe and can enjoy reality for what it is. We are creators of art and music; ponderers of the deep and the inane; we are not pleasure seekers, we are pleasure makers. I know historians, scientists, builders, sculptors, artisans, novelists, poets, musicians, and philosophers. I am only some of these, not all. Much of my time is spent reflecting on the human condition. For all of the reasons that I loathed humanity in my youth, I sort of adore it now. Sort of.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have settled into an occupation that suits me comfortably. I manage a bar in Chalmette, just outside of New Orleans. I honestly love my job. It is fairly stress free, the money is more than I need, and it gives me time for the things that are important to me. Namely, my writing and music. I love to travel, but just don't make the effort to do so nearly as often as I used to. That may be because I don't have to go looking for inspiration any longer... it finds me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Everything? Nothing? Who knows? I get lost easily, so I am always on an adventure.

Finding everything funny, especially when others don't. Something about people being uncomfortable or offended brings laughter to my life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
They don't. At least if I have any choice in the matter. When people do take notice on mine being around, it is usually due to some off-beat comment that either made them think about life, or really really pissed them off. As far as physical features go, my eyes change color. Though you'd have to be around me a few times before you'd notice it.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I could never do without myself.

Aside from that: coffee, cigarettes, reality, unreality, and...

the word Fuck.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The transcontinental migratory patterns of the red breasted warbler, and how it directly effects the mating habits of horseshoe crabs along the eastern sea board.

On a typical Friday night I am

Doing something atypical.
