My self-summary
Let me just describe how I enjoy life. I like to see challenging exhibits at art museums that change the way I think. I wander around the National Arboretum in the Asian Collection. I bring my camera everywhere. I like to go to good restaurants and try to reverse engineer the recipes at home. I love my bike ride to work everyday but I could never wear spandex shorts.
What I’m doing with my life
I enjoy my job but I don't feel like I need to bring it home with me. I had a very brief career as an art teacher. Along the way I was having fun with technology and now I do geek work in the arts field. It's a good story. I'll give you the details over a drink.

I spend a lot of time with my 14 year old son but less as he gets older. I like to get away to NYC whenever I can to see exhibits. I'm looking for a partner to explore new places.
I’m really good at
Organizing a social gathering and then disappearing when it gets too crowded, answering any question even if I have no idea what I'm talking about, cooking with garlic and olive oil...
The first things people usually notice about me
Friends tell me I have a welcoming smile and it's easy to make me laugh.

I am on a Neil Gaiman fix these days. I read American Gods, Neverwhere, and the Anansi Boys. I would love to meet someone who has read them and can help me understand why I like them so much.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
filling out these questions. Really way more than is healthy
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the Friday. At the end of the week I like to extend my bike ride home by going out to Haines Point. Every other Friday I make dinner with my son. Our latest experiment is to find everything that tastes good in a crepe. I like seeing what's at the Silver Theater. I have a well tested trust in them and will go see almost anything that's in the big theater. I don't really have a typical Friday. They are all different.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Oh no, isn't that what all those other questions are for?
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 35–50
  • Near me
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
Message me if you want to wander around museums together. I am a big fan of the National Gallery, Hirshhorn, Phillips Collection, Freer/Sackler and I would love a partner to go up to the Baltimore museums. Let me know if you want to go see the lotus blossoms in the aquatic garden or to the arboretum in the fall. We could go out and explore some new restaurants together.
