My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a city kind of guy. I love the variety of urban life. Exploring a city and finding the different things to do, being out and about, for me it's a great way to spend a day or weekend. I just feel more comfortable surrounded by concrete and circuitry. Sometimes I'll go hiking for my health or camping for fun but at the end of the day I like to find pavement under my feet. Keep in mind I'm a transplant from Orlando.

I'm an avid reader, I've got a decent home physical library and a large digital one. I read mostly horror and fantasy novels. The type of fantasy with magic and dragons, not the ones with Fabio on the cover. It's not always what I stick to they just tend to top my list more often than not.

Movies are where my heart really lies. As a child of the 80's I fell in love with movies like Ghostbusters, The Last Star Fighter and Aliens. Anything from serious dramas to hardcore sci fi to stupid comedies (Hot Rod). I'm also always down for a movie marathon and very rarely find any movie dis-interesting. My last movie marathon was a Kurt Russel themed one that ended with my favorite of his, Big Trouble in Little China.

If I'm home and don't particularly feel like doing much of anything, I game. I mostly game on my PC but sometimes I'll head over to a console.

Thunderstorms are one of my favorite things in the world next to the season of fall.

I think it's important for me to exercise; It keeps me feeling happy, healthy and energetic. Usually by Friday gym day though I'm telling myself how much easier it'd have been to just sit on the couch with Netflix and pizza all week.

To put everything simply I'm just a guy who is trying to make a genuine connection. I'm not looking for perfect, I'm just looking for happy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as a Metrologist. Indeed it’s Metrologist and not Meteorologist. Wikipedia has a decent article on Metrology.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making odd comments. Remembering random facts. Testing life. Testing your patience.

Easily my tattoos, no point in acting like I don't have them. I've also been told my eyes.

My favorite author is R.A. Salvatore. I also adore Gaiman, Lovecraft , Goodkind, Brooks and a bunch of others.

Horror movies, even cheesy ones.... especially the cheesy ones. Everything else is a toss up.

Clue, Hot Fuzz, Nightmare on Elm Street, Airplane, In Bruges, Mirror Mask, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Clifford, Equilibrium, Event Horizon, Sucker Punch, Hackers, Death Proof, Willow, The Rundown, The Dark Crystal, Sleepy Hollow

Whatever music works for me that day is what I go with.

The Birthday Massacre, System of a Down, Matt and Kim, Crystal Castles, Korn, Justice, HorrorPops, Owl City, Misfits, Floggin Molly, The Dollyrots, The Black Keys, Daft Punk.

I usually try to make the healthier choice with food, but it's not like I'm gonna skip a burger. I'm not really a health nut but I am somewhat careful with what I eat. I'll never be able to beat the grip energy drinks have on me, and I don't want to.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My mind.
Sense of humor.
Cat memes.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm normally pretty destroyed from 5 days of work and 4 days of gym time so I'm just crashed out reading or watching something on Netflix.
