My self-summary
One of my friends is fond about commenting on how weird I am. They have also said that I am complementary (purple hair, yellow shirt).

I dance to my jam on the street, at my job, and everywhere else. The jam may or may not be fruit related. Music is optional.

Poems, I write them. Frequently about avian predators who may be nocturnal, diurnal, or crepuscular, but mostly nocturnal. Guess who! I think I post some of them to tumblr.

I like to bitch about cars but watch Top Gear.

Knits. Knots. Bits. Watts.

I'm GGG.

Did I mention I make video games? Oh, well I make video games.
What I’m doing with my life
When I finished college, I cofounded a company. A company that makes video games. We showed one such game off at PAX East '12. Neat.

Learning about bunnies. Maybe take care of one someday.

I also make games in my free time some time.
Maildrop
Dawn Glider
I’m really good at
Board games, dancing, falling off walls and making corn chowder. The inter-butts.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair (generally fading from blue to pink), my shoes, my kilt, or my fabulous hat.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
Mistborn, Brandon Sanderson, The Magicians, Slaughterhouse Five

Movies:
Sanctum, RED, Redline (plenty of other things from Madhouse), The Abyss, Down Periscope, Hayao Miyazaki

TV:
Adventure Time, Charlie Brooker, Legend of Avatar: Korra, Young Justice, Castle, Bones, Community, MLP: FIM

Music:
Adagio for Strings, Electronic, Chiptune, 8bit, Ska, Brass, Classical, Soundtracks, Youngblood Brass Band, Glitch

Food:
Corn Chowder, Fish

Board Games:
Dominion, Ascension, Meta Game

Video Games:
Uniracers
The six things I could never do without
Bike
Loose Leaf Tea
Non-Microwave Popcorn
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Rhyme schemes. Scheming. Citrus fruits. Wind direction and speed.

The Beat. Dancing to It. "Oh, this song would make a good samba."

Desire for some biking and hiking.

Equality.

Cars are so de-humanizing. So hard to see a drivers face. So instead it's easy to think of the person controlling not as a human but an object and get angry at them.

Meta:
OkCupid is the perfect place to semi-anonymously judge people.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doodling at a tea house or enjoying some board games with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
For the first 20 or so years of my life I didn't own a pair of jeans.

I believe in the absence of god. But only in the way I know to define the word. The SIL Ethnologue (thank you wikipedia) says there are some 400 languages with at least a million speakers (seems like a fair cut off for nothing). Some 400 possible definitions of god out there. I don't know them. Those languages could even have multiple definitions or none. They may be tied to one, zero, or many religions. People have so many tiny distinctions of what I see as one word and they add to sea of thought and idea I don't know how to swim in. There are tides and ebs and flows I can't even see.

Even so they are all wrong. This is an opinion.

Science and religion are not exclusionary. I co-exist with religious people. I think religion is beautiful. But humans just fuck it up.

I grew up in a small Christian denomination that essentially turned out to be a cult. Metaphysical questions are vastly interesting but when people turn to a religion for it to answer all the metaphysical questions they also turn to it for many of their physical questions too. I am sorry if you think gay marriage should be illegal. I am not going to write out an argument for gay marriage right here on this page. But for the opposite, if you do think gay marriage should be legal, I would love to know you.

This is a brief of a part of my life that is deeply important to me. Others in my youth taught me to hate some people and to love everyone. I am working as hard as I yet know to stop hating anyone, but that doesn't mean I will not judge someone as a detriment to and directly negative and harmful impact on someone else's life.

Religion touched by humans is just as fallible as humans are. Humans aren't perfect. Religion through humans isn't perfect. Maybe computers could observe a moment of perfect religion but it is hard for us and me to see one. There are things that can be taken from religion that can benefit. The lack of a target in that last sentence is on purpose.

I believe. My belief in a lack is a belief. I might not be able to explain it to you. There is one truth that I learned during a short study of Buddhism.

I. Exist.

The above has waaaaay too much seriousness. Hmm.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 23–29
  • Near me
  • For new friends, activity partners
You should message me if
Things. The very quite possibly infinite space of open verbatim internet datas can feed into a delectable algorithm resulting in endless engrossing content to speak on.

You like to dance. Dancing is a pretty good reason to message me. There are other reasons too.

Hiking or walking is another reason. Plenty of time for deep philosophical conversations about sentience, its consequences, and silliness.

Umm. Stars? Those are cool. (I keep asking friends if they want to go star-gazing, but they're not into that.)
