My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Jeez Louise, not too crazy about this part. I'm a non-conformist: I wear suits and ties. I remember the good old days when courtship meant bringing bringing a six pack of wine coolers and passing off Led Zeppelin lyrics as your own poetry. And now it's come to this. Anyway, as you can probably tell by now, I'm a bit too clever, but I'm allegedly cute and very passionate about the work I do (saying bad things to mean people), politics, art, books, music and films. I want to save the world, see every painting, read every book, etc. but I just want someone cool do this with.

By the way, my stats are accurate--what's the point in deception?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Walking, making little kids laugh, making toast, writing smooth words for angry mouths, staying up late, playing tennis, riding bikes, thinking real hard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

It's a massive, geeky and eclectic list that probably be too massively geeky of me to list here. And yet I will. Random samples would include the complete works of Nabokov, Pushkin, Lermontov, Fitzgerald, Garcia Marquez, Kapuscynski, Tartt, David Peace, and Junot Diaz. Right now, it's A Brief History of Seven Killinsgs, probably the worst title for a children's book.

I like most music, as long as it's good. Just not white supremacist music, punk pop, and anything by anyone named Justin.

I like food. Drink, too.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my cat, my mind, pen, paper, music, books, art, sleep, and the ability to laugh (especially at myself). That's probably more than six, but what the hell, fight the power.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Stuff; The long rough road to becoming a morning person; cat food; K-cups; trying to fly to work; nursing sore arms and scraped knees as a result ; what disguises to use to sneak into work when I'm late; soccer; ya know, stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
recovering from what was likely an intense week, but I'm game for anything.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I still blame Yoko.

You play nice. And you're not in a cult (seriously, I know I'd get car-sick on the Mothership). You can tell me why people think Ayn Rand's so great. Oh and why you're at it, can you please bring the funk?
