Well, how do you describe yourself without sounding conceited or self-deprecating?
I guess I would start by saying that everyone tells me that I'm very funny, and I suppose I would agree, judging from how often I can get people laughing, or at least getting them to roll their eyes. At the same time, I do have a serious side, most often seen when my dog wakes me up at 3 AM because he hears another dog barking 3 miles away.
I'm a great listener, and enjoy lively conversation, especially over a nice dinner out, or just sitting around the house on a rainy day reading books and watching TV together.
For fun, I like to hike, explore, and travel , although lacking a partner for it is definitely a bummer. I've always lived here in New England, and just love the combination of beautiful woods, nice beaches and quaint historic towns. Outdoor stuff is great around here, as are day trips to a bunch of great places, including Boston and its wonderful museums and parks. Weekends are made for adventures! (Unfortunately, they are also made for cleaning the house and doing laundry.)
I have alot to share with someone special, and if you might be that person, then say hello - you never know what can happen!

I've also been playing in a jam band with my crazy guitar prodigy nephew and enjoying getting back into my drums.

Making people laugh...or at least loosen up a bit.
