My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a hard working guy. I'm dedicated to those I love and will do anything for them. I'm a musician, lover of all things Chocolate, die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, and first and foremost Daddy to 3 amazing kids.

I'm a genuine, honest, responsible guy looking to meet that special someone with similar interests, someone to be my best friend, to be a right fit for me and my kids, and to ultimately share life's journey with. I'm a hopeless romantic so I always want the guy to get the girl in the end....or visa vera. lol

My biggest pet peeve is being lied to. I believe trust and honesty are two of the most important qualities in a significant relationship no matter what. For that reason I don't lie and won't.

I enjoy being outdoors, going to the gym, running, swimming, playing ball, camping, hiking, hunting, golfing, biking....the list goes on. I love watching my kids play softball and see their skills increase with each passing season.

A couple friends and I just finished restoring my 2000 Yamaha R6. It is an absolute blast to ride!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a degree in Music Education with an instrumental emphasis, percussion being my principle instrument. My intent was to be a Jr or Sr high band director, however, as life took its course, I currently am a elementary music teacher to k-2nd grade students, 3-5th children's choir director, as well as 6-8th middle school choir director. On top of that, I assist the HS band as their Drumline Instructor.

My heart will always be with music. I love it. I love listening to it. I love performing it. I love teaching it. So what better career to have than one where I can do it all? Music aside, I love being a teacher where I have opportunities to impact the lives of students on a daily basis. If I can help them love and appreciate music more deeply along the way, then I have been successful. I love that music can be used as a vessel to reach students when nothing else will. I try to take that and run with it.

Although I love teaching music as I have said, my number one job is trying to raise my kids to know and love the Lord with all their heart as I do, be the best they can be, to know they matter, build their self worth, learn respect, be responsible, to have self discipline, among other things...but above all, to show love to others no matter who they are as Christ did so many years ago.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a good handyman and enjoy working on my house remodeling it, cooking, hanging out with my friends, making my friends laugh, playing in any sort of musical ensemble. I'm a jazz drummer at heart, but love playing whenever I get the chance no matter what it is.

I'm really good at the game Clue. I'm still undefeated! :) I'm good at the game Ticket to Ride (Europe) and if you haven't played, OMG it's SO fun!

I really hate this because I don't like talking about's just hard to think of things.

My kids say I make the best peanut butter chocolate chip cookies....among other things. I haven't done it in years but I used to make a homemade apple pie (crust and all) from scratch that was really really good (If I do say so myself! lol)

I'm really good at listening, being of encouragement to others.

to be continued I guess.... lol

I'm not much of a reader but the books I have read I really have liked. It's something that I'm trying to do more.

I'm a movie buff loving all kinds...I love all the classic 80's movies, Star Wars Saga, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, Air Force One, Tom Clancy books that are movies, Die Hard, Marvel movies, Transformer movies, Harry Potter movies....the list goes on and on....and yes, Steel Magnolias.

Like I said, I'm a hopeless romantic so I do like romantic comedies...Sweet Home Alabama, Return to me, How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, are a few of my favorites. I even like the Twilight Saga. lol

As far as music, I enjoy it all so I have a wide range but some of my favorites are Kelly Clarkson, Steven Curtis Chapman, Newsboys, The Bangles, The Beach Boys, practically anything from the 80's, Pink...idk, tons more. lol

Being a music educator as well as a movie buff, I am a HUGE fan of anything composed by John Williams. That's why most of my favorite movies he has composed the music scores for. :)

Food, anything that doesn't involve mushrooms usually. I like it all. However, I still try to eat healthy. Chocolate is my weakness though. :) My favorites are Chicken Parm, ribeye, grilled chicken, asparagus, and Thanksgiving...all of it! lol

My favorite places to eat are Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, Chilis, and any good BBQ joint! Oh, and my favorite ice cream is my grandmother's "secret" recipe for homemade ice cream. :)

I love the first generation 80's cartoons like He-man, GI Joe, Transformers, Thundercats...all of them. lol I enjoy watching them with my kids and seeing the excitement in their eyes and them fall in love with these "friends" as much as I did when I was their ages.
