My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am the mythical average: Not a unicorn but somehow just outside of common or typical. I tend to do my own thing irrespective of stereotypes or peer pressure and I like being different. Some might even say I'm a 'filthy casual' and, yes, I am. I'm here to enjoy activities, not evangelize them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've recently started exploring interactive game development and architecture. I'm wrapping my head around the processes necessary to handle animation and interactive processing.

Since getting an Android Wear watch I've made it a point to get out more each day. It took a while and a readjustment of the default daily goal but I now average about 9-12,000 steps per day.

Most importantly I'm trying to find my purpose in life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Understanding complex systems and interactions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'm currently listening to The Dresden Files on audiobook (now on Book 8: Proven Guilty), waiting for the next installment of a David Weber book, and have enjoyed many of Mercedes Lackey's works. In general I enjoy science fiction and fantasy.

I like variety in my food. I regularly eat burritos, pizza, subs, maki, pasta, & rice dishes. I go out to restaurants most evenings.

My interest in music is as a casual listener. I like smatterings of pieces from different genres ranging from electronic, club, dance, pop to classical, vocal, electronic symphony, & movie scores. What I'm listening to depends on what else I'm trying to do at the time.

I still have Legend of Korra on my list of shows to see.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Integrity: My moral compass and the trait I also value the highest in others.
Peppermint Mocha: My standard go-to when going out to a cafe or as a drink of choice while working on a project.
Daily Excursion: An itch to get out of the apartment at least once every day.
Gaming: The entertainment and social outlet of choice. I especially like coop and space games.
Laptop/Phone: The swiss army knife of the modern era for communication, entertainment, and productivity.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Since finding out I'm asymptomatic for cold sores I've become unsure how to proceed when dating. I'm too conscientious about the potential for spreading it even in the most casual of ways that I've become an unwilling recluse. It's easy to say I should face my fear, accept the possibility of rejection, and just put myself out there for the other person to decide how to handle it, but hard to actually do it. It feels like coming out of the closet all over again.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like going on little adventures and excursions, like walking through a new area, checking out a new restaurant, Saturday/Sunday brunch, or spending a few hours near the water, and then ensconcing at a cafe, park, or home with a book, game, or computer. The more involved but less frequent excursions like kayaking, a morning hike, or a road trip to a rustic restaurant in a small town outside the city would also be a fun adventure. If this sounds like an ideal interaction then we should talk.
