Here's an animation I created (hopefully it will make you smile):

Here I am in an interview at an art show I had:

I used to work at Google and am glad to have escaped the cubicle. Now I'm at WFMU and love how non-corporate and off-beat it is, and I'm also grateful for more time for art.
I go to a weekly meditation group (in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh) and have started doing yoga recently. Dharma Punx is awesome, too. I like to watch TED talks instead of television.
I love meeting people from other cultures and seeing the world outside of the US. I've mostly traveled to other countries for animation festivals (which are a blast!).
In college I studied computer science and psychology. I focused on neuroscience and worked in a lab with zebra finches, where I mostly counted neurons (yes, it was a bit tedious).
Also in college I was a DJ at my school's radio station. I think the best thing I did on the air was a sound collage of Nintendo music, but normally I co-hosted the electronic music show.
I'm trained as a scientist (my dad's a statistician and mathematician who's worked in public health for years, and Richard Feynman and James Randi are heroes of mine), so I'm highly skeptical of ideas that lack evidence, but foremost I try to have compassion for everyone.
I really appreciate creativity.
If it seems like we'd get along, send me a message!
