My Self-Summary
It seems I am an individual best summed up by the words eccentric
and eclectic. My tastes are wide ranging and thus are the worlds I
walk through. Although I am most intrigued by that which is odd,
bizarre, twisted and strange.
Other notible facts about me include the fact that I hold my BA in Sociology (with a minor in psychology) which is otherwise known as my degree in cynicism... heh. my primary focus is on human rights for people with disabilities. Particularly regarding the social barriers faced by such folk. I'm also very much a cat lover. I fancy myself to be of an artistic inclination. How well I do at that I'll let you decide. My primary medium is light painting and I have some of my work up at http://abstractlightpainting.blogspot.com/

What I’m doing with my life
Currently I do volunteer work here and there in disability
advocacy. I'm putting together applications to go to grad school to
get my masters in either Disability Studies or Public
Administration and Policy. Eventually I see myself trying to make a
difference from within the government.
The rest of my time is spent hanging out with friends, my cat and making art.

I’m really good at
I seem to be quite good at making people feel comfortable and being
generally entertaining. I'm also a fairly accomplished cook. I also
thrive in environments full of intelligent discourse.
The first things people usually notice about me
I like to think it's my general presence in the room... from the
way I costume myself to how I interact with the world. Of perhaps
it's something more mundane like my eyes. I'm not sure.. I suppose
I'll have to ask some folk.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
In the realm of writers I am particularly fond of Douglas Adams,
Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman and Warren Ellis.
Movies that I enjoy are often ones that fuck with my head or get me thinking about something from a different perspective. Can't think of specific titles at the moment.
My tastes in music are broad by my favorites are within the world of music that most people exclaim "What the fuck are you listening to" when exposed to.
Food.. I love food.. a lot. But strangely enough my favorite sorts of foods tend to be veggie laden dishes. Healthy, savory eating is my way of life.

Good healthy food, plenty of warmth and good shelter, love and
companionship, my cat, passion and intelligent discourse.

Social issues.. the concept of freedom.. the subjectivity of
existence.. giraffes running around with silly hats on.. love..
beauty.. swirly things that attack at a moments notice.. new and
interesting ways to wave flashlights around.. etc etc...
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, listening to music, discussing whatever topic
that wishes to wander across the table.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I love to dance while I walk down the street when I'm in a good
mood.
