As a past professor once said "categories are idiotic as there is
fun to be had with anyone, everywhere." I try to live like that- no
judgement, open to anything. I love to travel and explore, all the
while "cultivating my garden." Perhaps that's contradictory, but,
in the words of Whitman: ". . .Very well, then I contradict myself,
I . . . contain multitudes." And that I do.
What I’m doing with my life
I just "broke-up" with law school after finishing two years
(freedom!) So, I'm in quite a transitional phase- writing a lot and
plotting my next moves
I’m really good at
Evading this question...
The first things people usually notice about me
my wit (and, of course, how damn cute i am! ;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Literature: Shantaram, Dirt, Shadow of the Wind, Plato's Republic,
Veronica Decides to Die, The Witch of Portobello, The Time
Traveler's Wife, any Magical Realism (e.g. Gabriel García Márquez,
Kafka, Isabel Allende)
Movies: I've been into some Woody Allen lately. Donnie Brasco,
Sherrybaby, Frida, etc. I'd like to see "The Best Exotic Marigold
Television: I don't own a TV, but love Curb your Enthusiasm,
Arrested Development (movie, pleeease!) and 90's sit-coms (I'm a
sucker for those Golden Girls!)
The six things I could never do without
Frida (Kahlo) my pup (love her art too, of course)
Stamps - I love to send cards and letters. It's becoming a lost art
and who doesn't like getting mail?
Friends and Family (the obligatory obvious)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how best to utilize this incarnation
On a typical Friday night I am
Figuring out what "typical" means?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't wear a watch or own an umbrella.
You should message me if
If you think we might get on together . . . pretty straightforward!
