I'd love to make new friends to hang out with alone or with my husband and baby, though I do have a lot on my plate as a new mom.

I am pretty reserved when first meeting people, but open up pretty fast. I'd rather be with a few people I know well than many I don't and am very affectionate and loyal to those I trust. I like to go out, but enjoy staying in a little bit more. My taste for music is broad and voracious.

My sense of humour can be dry, goofy and/or a little dark. I can be bossy sometimes, but I respect and prefer to be with people I consider my equals. I believe in maintaining a balance between reason, emotion, and intuition, and that electing one as more important than the others is ridiculous. Spirituality is also very important to me, but I think that dogmatic systems are the bane of human existence. I am very close with my family, too.
