My self-summary
I'm never sure how to summarize myself, so here are two lists:
Likes: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, kittens (and cats), the ocean, baking cookies, everything made by Joss Whedon, smoking weed, piercings and tattoos, crayola-colored hair, British comedy, graphic novels, xbox 360, reading, listening to Pandora, the Discovery, History, and Science channels, walks around the woods with a big dog, Wegmans, sewing, gummi tarantulas, being mostly nocturnal, blue eyes, lobster, musicals, Doctor Who... etc.
Dislikes: organized religion, American sitcoms, ricotta cheese, sandwiches, Will Ferrell, chihuahuas, basketball, football, and baseball, non-superhero action movies, hard drugs, typical plastic Blonde sorority girls, sloppy drunks, people who take themselves too seriously, judgmental people, going to bed early and getting up early, politics... etc.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm trying to get it all back together. You know how it is.
I’m really good at
Being an understanding and nonjudgemental ear for a friend to talk to, baking, learning new things, seeing the humorous in things.
The first things people usually notice about me
My bright pink hair and facial piercings... although I'm also told I have nice eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: authors are easier. Douglas Adams, J K Rowling, Jasper Fforde, Augusten Burroughs, Lewis Carroll, David Sedaris, Stephen King, J R R Tolkein, Christopher Moore, Neil Gaiman, Chuck Palanihuk

Movies: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The House of Yes, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Boondock Saints, Labyrinth, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Silence of the Lambs, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Sweeney Todd, Fight Club, Tank Girl, Goonies, Fargo, True Romance, Amelie

TV Shows: Arrested Development, Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Firefly, 30 Rock, ATHF, Dollhouse, Project Runway, Glee, Month Python's Flying Circus, Fringe, Parks and Recreation, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Office (US & UK), Little Britain, The Walking Dead, Mythbusters, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Sherlock, Community, Parks and Recreation

Music: MC Frontalot, Say Anything, Against Me!, MC Lars, Schaffer the Darklord, Modest Mouse, Adele, They Might be Giants, KMFDM, NIN, Lily Allen, Less Than Jake, Fall Out Boy, We Are Scientists, Dead Milkmen, Alkaline Trio, Jack's Mannequin, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, Rise Against, Taking Back Sunday, Daft Punk, I Am The Avalanche

Food: I'm not picky, although because of my stomach problems I can't eat a lot of things. I love almost all seafood, I like Mexican, I'm not crazy about Italian, I like Indian. I like to cook and love to bake.
The six things I could never do without
1. My cat. I need a cat to be sane and happy, and I have a particularly awesome cat right now.
2. My friends. They've seen me through hard times without judging me or asking for anything in return.
3. My kindle. I don't have a cellphone, so it keeps me connected.
4. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It has provided me with hours of laughter and smiles. When I'm sad or sick I put in the movie or read the book and I feel better.
5. Mangoes. Mmmmmm... mangoes.
6. Weed. I smoke it to alleviate my nausea and vomiting, and it works like a charm.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The zombie apocalypse. The next game in the Fallout series. Nerdcore music. How I really need to cut down on the cigarettes. How sad it is that Douglas Adams is dead. What book I should read next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my friends, while smoking, talking and watching a movie, or playing xbox while watching netflix and chatting on my kindle.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am RIDICULOUSLY proud of my results in the Nerd, Geek or Dork Test. Outcast Genius? Seriously? Hands-down the only time anyone anywhere will ever compare me to Bill Gates LOL
