I am bright, funny, and crazy.
My Self-Summary
Summarizing myself is a bit tricky, as it is with anyone. I'm a
vegetarian,
cat-loving Heathen for a start. I like to a be a force of creation
and positivity. I want to make the world a better place through
knitting and
poetry. I can be
one of the nicest people in the world, but I'm not a doormat. And I
do have a bit of a mean streak when it comes to my sense of humour,
but only it's only hypothetical meanness, promise.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm enjoying my life right now is what I'm doing with it. My focus
right now is on having good times with the good people in my life.
I think people tend to take each other for granted and I don't want
to do that since I have so many awesome people in my life. So I'm
not really focusing on my career as such. I am in the midst of
deciding the next path my life will take, but I'm not stressing
about it. I don't stress about much.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at
dreaming,
laughing, listening,
eating, showing up, keeping people
calm, losing myself in the moment,
people-watching, making a fool
of myself and then laughing about it,
dancing (or so I've been told). There
are other things I'm good at but those are for more private
conversations.
The first things people usually notice about me
The first thing(s) people notice about me visually are usually
either my eyes, which I've been told can be striking, or the fact
that I'm on the furry side. Otherwise the first thing people notice
about me is my laughter, which can be loud and bordering on
obnoxious at times, depending on where I am and what I'm laughing
about. I never really got the hang of holding back with my
laughter, which I think is one of my (many) charms.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favourite books are the same as most fantasy nerds:
Lord of the
Rings,
Wheel
of Time,
Harry Potter.
My Top Five Favourite Movies of All Time:
1.
The
Neverending Story
2.
The
Breakfast Club
3.
Labyrinth
4.
The Last
Unicorn
5.
Transformers the Movie
(the animated one)
I may see better movies, but these will always have that special
place in my heart. In terms of contemporary movies, I love a lot of
action/sci-fi/fantasy movies. Beautifully done movies like
Amelie are up there
as well. I love movies a lot and can discuss them for hours. I'm an
unapoligetic escapist.
As previously mentioned, I'm a vegetarian, a fairly recent one.
I've been eating a mostly vegan diet but have been recently
contemplating relaxing that a little. I love all kinds of foods.
Pizza (even vegan pizza) is up there, along with Indian food,
Japanese and many many many others. The only foods I've never cared
for even before I became vegetarian were seafood and fruit
pastries, which is more of a texture issue.
The six things I could never do without
1. My friends
2. movies
3. pen and paper
4. music
5. knitting supplies
6. laughter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to make the world a better place. Random funny things that
wouldn't be funny if explained to anyone outside of my head. Why
some people don't really seem to see me. How I can bring joy into
the lives of my friends.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually relaxing with movies or hanging out my friends/roommates.
I'm not a big party person on Fridays, I mostly want to unwind from
the week and do something low key.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I think I have multiple personalities...
You should message me if
You like to chat about stuff, are looking for new friends,
potential dates or have any questions or comments. I value honesty
and think it's more important than protecting my feelings.
