I am Eccentric, Honest, and Thoughtful.

My Self-Summary

Well, this is where I tell you about myself, isn't it? The kind of online splash panel where I toss out the highlights of my personality and try to eliminate almost any flaws I can portray in some attempt to attract the attention of the single women that also call OKC home?

Screw that. xD

What's the point of walking down the lane of possible romance if you don't want your potential significant other to like you for who you truly are? How is it not pointless if they only talk to you because of some false, ideal facade you've constructed to make yourself into the greatest cyber peacock ever?

So here's the cold truth about who I am. I am an intelligent, analytical, stark and often cynical and sarcastic young man. I love a good meal as well as a good book and heck, I love a good discussion too. I play Dungeons and Dragons and several trading card games, read comic books, have a few World of Warcraft characters and enjoy several eccentric TV shows.

I'm caring, a good listener, I love children and to cuddle and am incredibly loyal and devoted to someone I consider myself close to.

But I'm not all good. I can have a temper (I'm not saying I'd smack a woman, which I never would, but it's not always an arduous task to set me off. I have my "hot buttons" like any person), I'm a republican, I do have a few self esteem issues and I'm agnostic.

All people have their flaws and can make a relationship difficult, but I'm not interested in some ideal coupling where every day is sunshine and daisies. I want all the bad with the good 'cause that's what makes a relationship truly worth it.

So in short, I'm a geek, I'm an intellectual and I'm a hopeless romantic. I love who I am and won't stop being me just to make me more appealing to society and it's cruel whims.

Think you like any of who I am? Then drop me a message or an IM.

What I’m doing with my life

I work as a Circulation Assistant at my local library. This basically means I shelve books, work the desk and perform any other form of manual labor I'm told to.

I’m really good at

- A lot of people say I have a gift for writing.

- I pick up on new things and learn pretty fast.

- I tend to rock at games (be they board or video or something similar. Not too great at sports. ^^; )

- Knowing a crap load of useless trivia xD

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know; why don't you tell me? ;D

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:

- Anything by Terry Pratchett
- Anything by Neil Gaiman
- Anything by Hideyuki Kikuchi
- Anything by Alan Moore. That man is a god!
- A lot of stuff by Black Library (Warhammer and Warhammer 40k)
- Movie novelizations
- Etc.

Now don't get me wrong here, I'm not only interested in fandom stuff. Hemingway, Machiavelli, Dante, Nietzsche, Socrates and other great writers are on my "To read list", but pop culture will always have a strong place in my heart and thus comes first in most cases. (Though once I've torn through the 50 or so comic trades/manga volumes I have checked out right now I'm going to read a lil' ol' tome by an old china man called Sun Tzu ;D )
Movies:

- Watchmen
- Tropic Thunder
- Batman: The Dark Knight
- Hellboy II
- Iron Man
- The Incredible Hulk
- The Nightmare before Christmas
- V for Vendetta
- Hancock (The first half at least. Send me a line if you want to know why not the other half.)
- Don't mess with The Zohan
- The Spirit
- 007: Casino Royale
- 007: Quantum of Solace
- Nine
- Star Trek
- The Deadpool movie (when ever it eventually comes out Dx)
- etc.

Music:

Certain songs catch my interest, but no wide genre. I generally hate rap though.

Food:

- Steak (medium rare)
- Lobster Tail
- Grilled Chicken
- Rotisserie Chicken
- Grilled Barbecue Chicken
- Grilled Hot dogs
- Rotisserie Hot dogs
- Beef Tenderloin (medium rare)
- Crab
- Scallops
- Scrod
- Cocktail shrimp
- Butterfly shrimp
- Beef Jerky
- Chocolate
- Pizza
- Popeye's chicken
- Potato bread
- Chocolate Silk pie
- Lemon Meringue pie
- Chocolate Truffles
- etc.

Oh, and though it didn't fit into one of the categories....

I LOVE Avenue Q!!!!!

The six things I could never do without

1. A good book to read.
2. A good night's sleep.
3. A good meal
4. Some one to talk with.
5. Some internet time
6. David Tennant as the Doctor

*shrugs* I'm a simple man.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

- What's for dinner.

- What's on TV.
- A ton of other things.

On a typical Friday night I am

Typical Friday night?

What is this beast and where does it dwell?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

-I find large (robust, rotund, fluffy, chubby, plump, voluptuous, bbw etc. I don't care which adjective you prefer) women attractive. Society's false standard of anorexic beauty be damned!

Now, this doesn't mean I find more petite women unattractive. It just means I don't discriminate based on body type.

-Also, I like forward women. Don't sit there waiting for a message from me after you "stalk" my profile just because you think that you have to abide by some archaic social norm that men always make the first move.

-I do not wish to have any romantic intentions with women who are single mothers. I have nothing against them having children (I love the little tykes so much my heart could burst) at all. It's just that I do not believe I am financially secure enough to, if the relationship became serious, take over the role as a father. I would never intentionally bring a child into the world if I could not provide a safe, stable home for them and it would just kill me inside to give a child anything but that, regardless if it was in my power.

- I kind of have a thing for red heads and girls of darker skin ^^;

To clarify, this means that I find girls with red hair (be it natural or no) and girl of a darker tone (anywhere between a heavy tan to actually black/brown) particularly attractive.

- I as of late also have a thing for thinner built punk/indie girls with odd hair colors.

- My profile tends to grow, change or evolve after dealing with some of the ruder or more selfish people on this website. Sometimes this isn't the case, but that is rare.

- Distance and age (up to around 11 years older and 1 year younger currently) don't tend to matter to me.

- Discriminating against me because of my age is a very easy way to piss me off.

- Anything in my profile is subject to change and is not set in stone. My mind can also be persuaded with the right approach.

- I have some deal of faith with the systems of this website. So generally I try not to speak with girls who are under 70% unless there's something I find special about them.

- I like to add the " " tags to many things on my profile to make it more likely to be a hit on someone's searches ^^;

- I can't stand people who are more devoted to their religion than the actual flesh in blood person that they are in love with.

- I like to use words/phrases like y'all, awesome sauce and summbitch.

- I always thought Velma was hotter then Daphne.

You should message me if

- If you read my Self-Summary and my profile in its entirety and you saw something you liked.

- You have a Book, Movie or Manga to suggest

- You play World of Warcraft. I'm trying to find some more friends in that game.

- You play Dungeons and Dragons or would like to learn to play

- You can be an adult and look past my age and my place on the political spectrum before making inane and frankly childish assumptions.

- You will talk to me often. I'm dead serious with this, I don't have time for you girls who think its perfectly fine to talk to a guy enthusiastically one night and then ignore them for weeks before suddenly showing the same fervor again and try to act like what you did wasn't wrong.
