I am happy, sad, and in between.

My Self-Summary

I just left on a tour for the summer, so I won't be around until September.

I am an actor/singer who is trying to get established in D/FW. I love live theatre, music, movies, and reading most anything. When I moved over half of the boxes were books and plays. I can be extremely extroverted or horribly shy depending on my mood and the situation. I love to travel-new places and people are always exciting, but its also nice to come home. I did a year long tour with a children's theatre last year during which time I put everything I owned in storage and just lived on the road. A great experience, but now I would like to have a home base to come back to between travels. Right now I really want to go to Turkey, but there are few places I wouldn't like to visit someday. The only place I do not want to go is North Dakota-ever again. There is a reason we gave so much of it back to the Native American's. It sucks. There is nothing there.
I love roller coasters, and hope to try sky diving one day. I love funny movies-Mel Brooks and Monty Python are favorites as are Dr. Strangelove and Dogma.

What I’m doing with my life

I just finished touring and I am now working in the DFW area. I tend to go a little nuts if its been too long since I was on stage so I'm sure I'll stick with theatre. I tend to look on my life like a novel-so I am hoping to make it an interesting read-hopefully full of adventures, achievements, and a great love or two.

I’m really good at

Making people laugh- often intentionally
Falling down-I'm very klutzy
Remembering random facts yet forgetting people's names
Procrastinating
Reading
Ironing-I love the smell

The first things people usually notice about me

I am tall.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Favorite Authors: Neil Gaimon, Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett, Jane Austen and Sophie Kinsella
Favorite Books: I read a lot, so I can't list all the ones I enjoy here. A selection: The Time Traveler's Wife, Neverwhere, The Raging Quiet, Pride and Prejudice the Ender's Game series, Vanity Fair.
Movies: Anything with John Cleese or Mel Brooks. I also love Snatch, Dogma, Shawshank Redemption, Shaun of the Dead- I also have a lot of tv shows on DVD, such as Heroes, Arrested Development, and Weeds.
Music: I listen to a lot of musicals ( I did major in musical theatre after all) and bands like Barenaked Ladies, Franz Ferdinand, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Vampire Weekend. I also enjoy the occasional heavy metal or opera cd.
Food: I am actually a picky eater- I love pizza and fried rice. I don't eat fish or seafood at all, though. Its a texture thing.

The six things I could never do without

Books
theatre
Music
My Friends
High Heels
Air Conditioning

I spend a lot of time thinking about

All sorts of things...

On a typical Friday night I am

Rehearsing or performing in a show. Sitting around with a few friends have deep philosophical discussions-sometimes this involves a drink or two-or just watching a movie, sometimes bowling, though I am not very good. Occasionally at a bar with friends. Never a club, though-the music is too loud! I like to actually be able to talk to someone unless there is a live band that I want to hear.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

....is that I don't feel like admitting anything personal here right now.

You should message me if

-You REALLY want to.
-You lack a hump
-You have the normal number and distribution of appendages.
-You can read (a bit redundant, maybe, all things considered)

(I would raise the bar higher, but my arms are just SO TIRED! (and expectations are heavy))
