My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Beautiful woman, mother of two amazing children, often found walking on the path less traveled, dancing to the beat of her own drum seeks companion to be her most dearest friend, lover and confidant in all matters of the heart!

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~Kahlil Gibron

Inviting lightness and to join me or take me out to enjoy a moment of fun, sharing, laughter, walk between the rain drops and falling leaves, burying bare toes in grass or sand or ocean it all off with a warm cozy cup of tea, elegant glass of wine or cocoa with marshmallows... hhmm, so many choices, name a fave or two that suite you!

I love myself when I am laughing. ~Zora Neale Hurston

Qualities and character that are important, polarities that in the end are supposed to be in balance right? Authentic and true, attentive and thoughtful, strong in character and strong in self, established and financially responsible yet able to have fun and be light-hearted, sophisticated yet down to earth.

“In the house of lovers, the music never stops, the walls are made of songs & the floor dances” ~Rumi

Do you embrace your imperfections, quirks and oddities...

This path of being open to love and accepting of one's self and others as well as receiving love can be fun and full of discovery with open compassionate communication...

I think with each relationship and person you get to know you learn a bit more about yourself, amazing what can be reflected back to you through the eyes of another.

Courageous in honesty and being forthcoming!
Generous, caring and giving!

Friendship, trust and understanding are all hugely important to me!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Professionally I have worked for the past 12 years at a nonprofit community clinic as a licensed clinical social worker. Very passionate and thankful for my job, being able to do something that I love to do, am good at and enjoy. Intense work so not sure if enjoy is the word but it feels right and good for me at this time in my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Respecting and listening to others, being quiet and reflective.
Holding a generous world view, healthy moral compass and staying true to my authentic self.
Continuing self exploration to work through and embrace those interesting and sometimes annoying kinks.
Finally getting the hang of staying in the moment.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Long thick hair, cat eyes, smile at first but then...
A kindness from the heart!
Twinkle in my eye!
But what they do not see at first is my teasing adventurous spirit!

Although could be completely off mark and have no idea...maybe the grey hair sticking straight up and wild, a pleasant scent, a freckle...hhmm, now I am curios!

I am often outside relishing nature’s gifts, any park by the water, mountains, ocean or woods (rain or shine). Playing with my kids. I love to play games, read and just hang out with those that are near and dear. I also enjoy fine dining, a good movie, live performances (music and dance-Meany Hall is the best!) and long for the day of returning to international travel…(started by working at age 11, age 12 was learning German so that when I was 16 I as an exchange student in Germany and then it went from there...traveling solo through out Eastern Europe when an Au-pair in Austria, again soloed it thru Guatemala and Honduras (often staying with families) to name a few.

Time is also spent on trying to keep my house from falling apart. I can live in the mountains of Africa (Lesotho) with no running water or electricity (Peace Corps) but this home thing is proving more challenging.

I tend to read a lot of books depicting life in other cultures, delving into the depths of the characters' souls. I read Yoga Journal, Psychology Today, Psychotherapy Network and National Geographic monthly. In the past year have added to my genre of literature to include books of a more intimate nature.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Being in nature.
My camera.
Extravagant chocolate!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Humanity and how we are all connected. That if there was more respect shown for all living beings: people, those in the animal kingdom and Mother Earth we would all be in a lot better place.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It all depends on what is going on in town, what the mood is and how the week has been. So many choices...

I like a little of this and a lot of that, I know what I like but I also like to try new things. Could be anything from Jazz clubs, live performances, quiet dinner at home or out, going for a evening walk, a good movie at home curled up on the couch.

Lately, a restorative yoga class after work (have been doing yoga for over 10 years...)…what a wonderful transition into the weekend. This class moved to Tuesday's so Friday is now a budding adventure or a time of ease.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
On line...well...will someday get a tattoo of a butterfly on my right thigh...Coastal Native Artwork to bring magic and meaning to the flight of the celebrate so many challenges faced in ones life and the movement through them...

"One day someone is going to hug you so tight that all of your broken pieces will stick back together again." Anonymous
You know those kinda hugs...just feels so right!

Holding hands on walks is enjoyable!

Willing to sometimes share a vegetarian meal (that includes seafood). Salmon being the best by far so really a pescatarian.

Can handle a bit of fiestiness, spunk and mischievousness and moments of intensity as I can be pretty passionate about life and issues I feel strongly about...and it may come from my mostly Italian, Irish, Jewish and Hungarian heritage :-)

Feel comfortable with "I'm sorry's", maybe not for what was said or done but for the hurt or misunderstanding it may have caused. This is reciprocal and I will do the same.

Here is to you and a new day, make it how you want it to be and here is to meeting some cool people on this journey of meeting that special someone....

Best and with warm regards,
B (that be all you get for now!)
