I like hanging out in labs because I get along well with INTPs and I like the toys that they have. I'm an INTJ myself. If you go for the roleplaying alignment thing, I'm a decent example of true neutral.

I'm poor and compelled to hack around with most things. I'm extremely "low maintainence", and I like it when my contemporaries are too. If I need to maintain something the first tool I'm going for is a pair of channel locks and some blast goggles.

I seem like I'm indoorsy, and to be honest I am, but it's not that I've some longstanding fear of physical activity or sunlight or anything. I'm outdoor friendly, especially if you've a distorted enough sense of boundaries (or lack thereof) to be into urban exploring. I also do a good job of handling myself on a sailboat and in a tent, though I can't be sure about how well I'd do with a backpack that weighs as much as I do.

Learning and doing. I'm still pretty young and I've not really found a niche that I can sustain myself from; I'm trying to keep changing variables until I can.

Making things and thinking about them. Taking things apart and figuring them out. Explaining things. Lots of things that you'll never know I'm good at unless you somehow manage to coerce me into telling you all my secrets, which isn't too hard.

Snowcrash was a fun read for me, one of the first I've gone through a second time. I'm reading it aloud to my sister now. I've a thing for Ray Bradbury's short stories. I do read a lot, but I've been burning through a lot of stuff with problems in the back so not everything is worth noting.

I like movies that feel like movies. This is a hard concept to describe, but David Lynch would know what I mean. Some favorites are: Mind Game, Brazil, and Kill Bill.

Music. I've no general heuristic to show off that will help you know what music I'm going to like, and I'm not going to list off every band I've ever enjoyed because then I'd be in a genital slapping contest with every music nerd who viewed my profile. I normally just kick something into Pandora and let it be. The most developed seeds I have are Infected Mushroom, Rush, Venetian Snares and Noir Desir. I am dissatisfied with the music genome project's coverage of mid-80's Chinese rock.

I like most anything, but I tend to avoid the stuff that's so industrial it's questionable. I've also an allergy to grains (except rice), so I enjoy what I can get.

Access to the internet is pretty helpful, but I think I'd be alright with just good health and a somewhat developed area to meander about in.

I start to fail if I get too hot though, so I guess a cool area.

Things to fabricate and automate. I like being inventive. Also, I've some of the most developed zombie/apocalyptic scenario survival plans you will ever encounter. Seems to be a trendy thing to think about, eh?

At the lab. I'm normally there as late as possible, it really is a fun place to be.

I'm absent minded, and sometimes I'll be thinking about something entertaining and I'll just start laughing, hard. I'm not unstable, but the price of occasionally looking so is worth it since it means that I never have to be bored.

I'm also kind of uncomfortable about my age. Youth is great, but always being the young one is a sad gimmick.

I like to respond to every message I get, but if it's just a horrible rant from an evangelical or a creepy cougar with a cookie-cutter sexual proposition then I'll likely respond by scheduling a few dozen Mormons or Knife salesmen to the offender's home at strategically chosen times for a few weeks.
