I work in a non-financial role at a financial company. (Don't ask me to sort out the check after a group dinner.)

My job focuses on communications; I spend a fair amount of time writing, editing and strategizing about things that need to be written or edited. Having said that, I'd better not misplace a comma in this profile.

Walking that extra couple of blocks (or fifteen!) to avoid taking the subway or a taxi. I travel to and from work on foot every day - even in inclement weather. So get ready to pick up the pace.

Wish I could say it was my brooding eyes, but that's usually the SECOND thing people notice. And I'm not always in that dark of a mood, fortunately.

The truth is that people usually remark about my choice of words. While I'm not always dropping the most obscure entries in the dictionary, I do think I have a unique (and, hopefully, effective) way of expressing myself verbally. That is, if you can get past the Midwestern/Texan accent that New Yorkers keep pointing out to me.

Rarely staying at home, but rarely doing something as interesting as what's in store for Saturday night.
