I am enigmatic, intelligent, and optimistic.

My Self-Summary

I'm an introvert. I don't have to have a lot going on outside for there to be a lot going on inside. That doesn't mean I don't like being around people, I do, but I'm perfectly fine playing by myself. Not very high-maintenance (+plus!).

So, I read, a lot. Real nerd stuff, too.

I play musical instruments, a lot (swoon, right?). Whatever I can get my hands on, mainly guitar. Mostly, I play for myself. That "being a musician for attention" thing never worked for me. Total waste of time.

Sometimes, I wonder if I'm really in touch with reality. I daydream, a lot. This is a serious problem.

What I’m doing with my life

In the process of figuring that out. For the past several years I've been wondering around aimlessly, staying enrolled in college every other semester to feel like I wasn't wasting my life and, subsequently, wasting my life. Until now, I've finally found something I'm interested in, psychology. Hopefully, I'll graduate in a couple of years and go into the Peace Corps. That's the plan, at least. I just want to help people. No, really.

I’m really good at

Not being a waste of space.

The first things people usually notice about me

Sadly, my tattoos. I almost wish I didn't have them. Almost.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Food? I'm a pescatarian. So, yes, I eat leaves and sticks and fish. No meat.

Movies? Sure. Why not? Old Kung-fu movies.

Books? Mostly psychology. Occasionally a dark humor fiction when I get burnt out. Anything but fantasy fiction. Authors: Jung (Man and His Symbols, Dreams), Danielewski (House of Leaves), Palahnuik (Fight Club, Survivor), Walsch (Conversations with God), Saul Williams (Said the Shotgun to the Head, The Dead Emcee Scrolls). That's a good cross-section.

And music? Honestly, I'm fairly eclectic and pretty opinionated. Sigur Ros is the best.

The six things I could never do without

There was an important famous dead guy (not motivated enough to look for it) who said something along the lines of, "All one needs in life is a little bit of music, a few good books, and a few good friends.." and maybe something else. Can't remember.

So, there's three. Everything else just kind of falls into and out of place after that.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Hm.

On a typical Friday night I am

Reading. As much as I'd like not to admit it, it's true. I'm a nerd.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I look like a badass, but I don't play the part. Ha

You should message me if

You've come this far. Why not?
