Books! I love them so much that I'm actually jealous of people who
like them more than I do. It's very weird. Maybe because I can't do
a lot of recreational reading these days unless I make it the only
thing I do with my spare time. My shelves are predominately filled
with fiction, but a good non-fiction book is also appreciated. I'm
hoping to one day have a library (or approximation of) in my home,
despite the risk of being crushed to death in an earthquake. Worth
I enjoy movies. Basically anything that is not overly gory, cliche,
or sappy and has well-rounded characters. I would say a good plot
is also a must, but that's not remotely true (and the other stuff
is negotiable as well). How then to describe my taste in movies?
All that nerdy/character driven stuff. American, British, and
Korean (guilty pleasure, that one). I could make a list, but the
TARDIS on my key ring makes a more concise point about my taste
than anything I could say here.
I think I appreciate music in a different way than many people on
this site do and I'm not sure how to articulate what that means.
I'm not claiming to be more or less into music than most, probably
average. I think I'm just always on the precipice of being really,
really into certain bands or styles, but never quite make it over.
Kind of like almost sneezing.
I'm in a torrid love affair with food. Foreign, domestic, familiar,
strange, spicy, buttery, bland (in a good way). I can't get enough
of it, even when I know it's bad for me.
