My self-summary
Revision Time! (Always trying to figure out how to encapsulate me, one day I will get it)

To start you have to understand I am a nerd. Not a socially awkward nerd, but I do have tendencies that not too infrequently remind people of a somewhat popular sitcom. I just don't get to add as many letters to the end of my name as those guys.

I love history and Science, which leads to some odd combinations in my life. It's also probably why Neal Stephenson is my favorite author.

I am actually happy in my life and I do not feel bad about being on my own, however, I am not dumb enough to not grab the right woman should she come along.

I am not a gym rat, but I love a good work out. I have finally rejoined a gym after over a year's absence. It was all because of the turbulent circumstances of my move here, but I love to spend my energy there and I love what it does for my moods, energy levels and just over all awesomeness it brings to my life. If anybody wants to join one day...

You might notice that I do not have a job or income level specified, but do not worry. I AM employed and I do pay the bills. I am just not too happy with my job and I am busting my ass to change that. I am not unhappy because of my disagreement with the job. Work is not something that ought to make you miserable, if you don't like things do what you can to change it.
What I’m doing with my life
Living and exploring. Busting my ass at work and making the most of my free time to not be stressed and have fun.

Starting the process of Grad School searches and admissions.
I’m really good at
Nerding out. Today I was wondering if Disney bought Marvel and Star Wars so they could have rights to almost everything they would need to make the Wolves of the Calla. Yeah I'm that awesome.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Anything by Neal Stephenson, Neil Gaiman, The Walking Dead (I know thy are comic, but I did say I was a nerd right?), Shakespeare (Plays I know, but I read them more than I see them), Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Ender's Game, Dune Series (the Frank Herbert ones not the ones done by his son), History, Pillars of the Earth, The Dark Tower, I used to love Palahniuk (I still have affection for him, but I felt like his characters were all copies of one another)

Movies: Blade Runner, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Team America, Stranger than Fiction, Fight Club, Kingdom of Heaven, J.J. Abrams Star Trek (I Must give love to Picard though)

TV: Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Arrested Development, BSG, The Black Donnelley's, The League, Archer, Louie...

Music: I don't have a set style that I love more than other but what I do have are artists I love in all styles. Basically if I think your awesome at your style I will love it. Though I am in a classical/English punk rock/Seattle grunge phase this moment in time.

Food: The wholesome real food we find in this amazing city and not the bullshit shoveled at us by mass produced crap.

Podcast: I am adding this because I listen to these more than I do music; This American Life, Snap Judgement, 99% Invisible (it's about architecture mostly), Dan Savage, Planet Money, It's All Politics, Too Much Information, Radio Lab, Judge John Hodgman, The Moth, The Memory Palace, Michu Kaku and Star Talk are the people who keep me entertained on my train rides around the city.
The six things I could never do without
NPR podcasts, a book, pen and paper, my high tread count sheets (don't laugh. You ladies know how important that is)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The nature of the multiverse. Exactly what existing in a 5th dimensional universe would be like.

My own stories that are slowly making their way onto paper, and then into my computer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Many times I have to work, such is the life of a restaurant manager. When I am off though I could be out and about exploring the city, out having a relaxing dinner, chilling at home with a book (and tv for company) or sitting down with my pen and paper.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am pretty open book. As me something, anything...
