I am smart, funny, and a bit geeky :p.

My Self-Summary

Ok I don't really know what to say here, so I guess I'll start with the simple stuff. I'm 21 years old, I live in Oshawa and
I enjoy reading, playing games and surfing the web to waste time. I like to go out and do things, but sometimes I have to be poked and prodded into doing so.

I love watching movies and just spending time with my friends. Hanging out and just talking to people is one thing I enjoy doing more than anything. I always have something to talk about, and I like to voice my opinion on things, even if no one asked :p

I am easy to get along with, I enjoy playing games, and if I'm with the right people and have the right game on hand I can play co-op all day.

I can have fun and joke around, but I can be serious and intelligent too. It all depends on the mood of where I'm at.

What I’m doing with my life

I graduated from Durham College where I took a course in Computer Programming and finished off with a placement at Lakeridge.

I'm currently working at McGraw-Hill Ryerson and it's a pretty decent place. I'm the web developer, so I get to start all kinds of cool new sites, but I also have to update a lot of the old broken and shitty ones too. I swear the ones I do are kinda cool :p

I’m really good at

Making people laugh, and provoking thought at the same time. I tend to joke around a lot, and my humor tends to be sarcastic and off the cuff. Me and my friends really get along well and we can just kind of break into a role in a joke without having to acknowledge it at all.

I'm also the guy everyone seems to come to when they are having computer troubles. Being in a computer course in college suddenly makes you an expert on EVERYTHING computers in some peoples eyes. (Hint: I'm not perfect :p) But I'm to nice to turn them down and I usually end up helping them out whenever possible.

The first things people usually notice about me

My red hair. I hate it just because everyone else seems to make such a big fuss over it. I'm stuck with it though because if for whatever reason I dyed, cut or otherwise changed my hair, I would never hear the end of it from all my friends and family. So I do the next best thing and keep it short.

Other than my hair, people generally notice my laid-back attitude, my friendliness and my generally good humor.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I enjoy finding a bunch of random semi-obscure movies to watch with my friends and we can usually find a gem or two. I'm always on the lookout for a new movie to watch, and will sometimes find a bad B-Movie for us to watch and laugh at the whole way through.

As far as music goes, I"m pretty easy to please. Right now I'm listening to No Doubt, Something For Rockets, Paramore, and Flyleaf mostly. I like to sprinkle in some Jonathon Coulton and Weird All occasionally along with a bunch of others.

Some of my favorite books come in series like the Chronicles of the Black Company by Glen Cook and The Saga of the Seven Suns by Kevin J. Anderson. But I also like a lot of the books by Michael Crichton like Prey, Jurassic Park, and The Lost World.

I'm usually pretty open to reading a lot of different genres and rarely ever hate a book. For some reason though I'm usually REALLY picky in what I will pick up and try out, and the ones I just pick up on a whim usually end up being my favorites. There might be a lesson in there somewhere...

The six things I could never do without

My computer for one. I spend a lot of my free time browsing the web, chatting with friends and playing games on it. Movies are another thing. I love sitting around with a bunch of friends watching new movies. I guess my friends would be another, and I'm not quite sure what else...

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My mind wanders all of the time. It's hard to keep track of it, but I know I spend a lot of time thinking about what to do. I am always getting bored of whatever I'm doing and what to do something else. I'm kinda ADD that way of you will. Everything distracts me, but in a good way I think :p. I always find some little project or goal to keep me working at something if I have to much time on my hands.

On a typical Friday night I am

Calling up a bunch of friends, making plans, and hopefully hanging out, gaming, and watching movies all night. Add in a couple beers and you've got a recipe for the perfect night out with the guys in my opinion. If I can't seem to find anyone to hang out with I'm on my computer browsing the web, talking to friends and probably playing a few games. I like to read before bed, so sometimes if a book really has me interested I'll go to bed early just so I can get to reading it :p

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Not sure what I would say, I'm a pretty open kinda guy. Just ask and you'll probably get an answer. I guess the most private thing is I don't really date much, but you probably guessed that because I'm on here :p

You should message me if

If you are intelligent, funny, and you enjoy hanging out watching movies and playing games, then I would love to talk to you. Just give me a message and maybe we'll actually hit it off, who knows?
