My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Lets see... My ideal job would be saving puppies and kittens from being eaten by great white sharks, but unfortunately (or fortunately) this is not something that is a problem. Thus I'm a business I.T. Analyst.
I try to rely on public transport and my skateboard to get around, but now mostly use an automobile. I also own an awesome 1985 VW Westfalia pop-top camper-van (nicknamed “The Toaster”). I love to go camping.
Consider myself a "maker" / DiY person and like to build / fix stuff. Maker Faire is one of my happy places.
Love, compassion, strength and courage are necessities.
Have a deep appreciation for art, literature, and science.
I have a tendency to wear random costumes to parties and such.
Have attended that crazy “rave / hippy / art festival” thing in northern Nevada a number of times (Burning Man sucks! don’t go) and have helped create a few different giant metal and fire art pieces with The Flaming Lotus Girls.
Occasionally I possess wit.
I believe that correlation does not equal causation.
Love, unity, peas, justice, equality, green, renewable, blah blah blah progressive, etc. Realist with sarcastic tendencies.
I can be rather goofy.
Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Cellar door.
*Update: After a long hiatus, I have just moved back to Spokane (I grew up here) from San Francisco for family reasons and am reestablishing myself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Striving for love, self improvement, awareness and knowledge. Continue creating and building. Using my talents to try and make the multiverse a better place.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Figuring things out / creating solutions, building and fixing stuff, and technology.
Reading to someone.
I've been told I'm good at listening and bring a calming presence.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not really sure. It could be some random outfit I'm wearing or my shoes or how I gesture or that I'm very polite or the laser beams shooting out of my eyes.

I will try and be brief.
Currently working on Slaughterhouse Five (Vonnegut) and Columbine (Cullen).
In General, other books I love: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Adams), The Lover (Duras), Life of Pi (Martel), Contact (Sagan), Heart of Darkness (Conrad), Lolita (Nabokov), Mists of Avalon (Bradley), The Sun Also Rises (Hemingway), The Diary of Anais Nin, Tolkien in general, Salinger in general, Frankenstein (M. Shelly), Irving in general, and I could go on and on.

Movies: All of Wes Anderson's stuff, dark twisted stuff (such as Donny Darko), sci-fi stuff, Terri Gilliam stuff, dark comedy stuff, Cohen Brothers' stuff, post-apocalypse stuff (such as The Road... I really need to read the book), and movies that make me think.

Shows: Breaking Bad, Battle Star Galactica, Game of Thrones, Cosmos, any science show, Daily Show, Colbert, Archer, Frontline, Between Two Ferns.

Music: Very wide variety. From Johnny Cash to Sigur Ros, Nick Cave to The Chemical Brothers, The Cure to The Lumineers, Mozart to Orff. Current favorite is Avicii (they make me dance). I hate Christmas music with a passion. You get the idea.

Food: Sushi for the win or anything spicy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A variety of shoes
Friends and Family
questions that ask me to make a list
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The time / space continuum:
Guv = (8*pi*G/c4) Tuv

How light is bent by mass and gravity and it's association to the space time continuum is difficult to understand. The bending of light (which has no mass!?!) and time travel is fascinating to try and grasp and is kind-of over my head, but I am trying (maybe I should have studied astrophysics instead of English lit). If you can help me, please chime in. I am an autodidact and am trying to teach myself this stuff.

Oh... and don't get me started on the Fermi Paradox.
- grrr... and now I think a lot about the algorithm OKC uses to create that damn match percentage thing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
chasing fairies through the forest wearing only a leather Versace thong and dollar store flip-flops... err, I mean it depends on my mood.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I fractured my ankle, had to have surgery to implant a metal plate and screws in my body, and now I am part Bionic Man.
