A neutron walks into a bar and asks, "How much for a drink?" Bartender replies, "For you, no charge."
Why didn't the skeleton cross the road? He didn't have the nerve.

I like to imagine that each person I meet is a color of paint (a personality). When we meet, we exchange and mix portions of paint (trading ideas, talking and activities). I like to keep those person-to-person connections alive such that we always find some way to make new colors. I believe more than whole heartedly in contact and communication between people. It sounds silly and trite, but I will resort to carrier pigeons, smoke signals or even giant mirrors to keep communication alive. I'm too stupid to maintain anything else besides a simple openness and honesty when communicating with a person. Note that I mean communication includes both verbal and non-verbal; simply making the time to see someone face to face carries its own message.
Music has always been a large part of my life. I was formally trained on the violin and in percussion, though I haven't played either for quite some time. My tastes in music have changed as a reflection of changes in my personality. I'm always looking for new types and styles of music. New instruments and new uses of old instruments I always find interesting. I've started to move toward more acid jazz, break beat, downbeat, leftfield, triphop (like Gotan Project, Squarepusher) but I can't ignore the Pixies or Weakerthans from where I came :-). Of course, the other side of the coin is the simple melodies and harmony (like the viol and composition by Marin Marais).
Examples of the quirks of my mind: pondering how a blade of grass and a tree look dissimilar when close but indistinguishable from afar, the notes "G" and "A" make me think of the colors purple and azure blue, respectively.
Sometimes my brain (apparently) mixes up senses and I say things like "that idea is so ingenious it tastes like syrupy brightness" or "that song is like a forest breathing". I dunno, seems to work for me.
