Oh boy, a self summary. For now I am looking to make some new friends with similar or complimentary interests. I enjoy hiking, seeing and learning new things..the regular gamut I suppose...except for a few things...

Family is important to me, and I do like to find a balance between my work, my shared time with my two boys, as well as making new experiences. A lot of my family lives in Tucson and in the surrounding areas, so Tucson really is my home.

Religion is not a bad thing to me, it just isn't MY thing. I still do attend church with my Mother on occasion. I believe in the power of the community, and many church goers do remarkable things with regard to their lives and their community. Plus, I love the sound of a choir. I also am a believer in science though. I suppose being Agnostic is just my way of saying that I am not willing to ascribe a mystical source for things I do not understand.

Politics have been a sore spot for me for a while. It isn't that my man didn't win, it isn't that I am a hater of one idea or another or one side or another. It is quite the opposite. I simply feel that all of this side choosing, name calling, decisions over who is right or wrong, policy slamming, policy repealing, crying over issues that have roots deeper than anyone cares to examine in any fair way, is just manufactured BS to entertain the masses and give then the illusion that they actually have some say in how the world is run. There...I said it. And now that it is said, please know that with that viewpoint, I realized a while back, that spending my energy trying to analyse it and share it with others is pretty pointless. Your political orientation is fine with me, I get along with everyone since I really do believe that everyone has a valid point and interest to bring to the table.

So what I am seeking by being here...is someone that honestly enjoys conversation, isn't trapped in a particular way of thinking, longs to go do...STUFF! Ha ha! Yes, I love to just be active, to eat well, see and learn new things, and have a hand to hold and a friendly face to smile at.

I have two teen boys that I have about half time right now and love to spend time with them. They are both great kids.

I do visit the gym 2 to 3 times a week - mostly lifting and treadmill.
I have a variety of interests, some of which might be a surprise, but the more typical would include hiking, museums, travel to more geeky stuff like computers, gaming, and the occasional read.

Fixing things, except computers apparently. I am pretty good with horses as well.

I am pretty happy, energetic, and playful.

Books - I am reading the 50 Shades trilogy right now and like it. I also like the Twilight series. I can hear gagging right now and that's ok. But seriously, I have liked The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Hobbit as well. The Da Vinci Code was prettty fun, but for the most part I enjoy reading non-fiction magazines or articles on the web as well as some lit-erotica.

Movies - I am pretty easy to entertain. My favorite movies are Robin Hood Men in tights, Pitch Black, The Mummy, and Avatar to name a few. The only movie I did see that I really didn't like at all was Rampage. Aside from that I am not into horror flix all that much.

Shows - CSI is about the only thing I watch on TV anymore. I simply don't watch much on TV.

Music - I like most genres and styles with some exceptions when it comes to rap and jazz.

Food - favorites? As strange as it sounds - Salad, I really do love it. I also love fish, plain yogurt, cottage cheese, sushi, pineapple, Teriyaki anything, chicken, sweet potatoes, but right now I am craving a frozen yogurt from Park Mall.

Family, basic daily opportunity for daily hygiene, nutritional requirements, learning opportunities, a safe place to live, and love.

Sometimes sitting right here on my computer, and sometimes I will go to a party or something.
