I am intelligent, caring, and dorky.

My Self-Summary

I'm 19 years old, and into everything under the sun. Music, politics, goofing around, reading, writing, the outdoors, cloud watching, star gazing, bubbles, the internet, you name it, I probably will do it at some time or another. I'm artistic, but logical. I'm caring and sensitive, but can be in-your-face if the situation calls for it. I'm just a big mish-mash of lots of different things.

I recently left a two year relationship, and so am not nessecarily looking for anything long term at the moment. I would much prefer friends, dating, short term relationships, and the like. But if short term relationships turned into long term, I would not be opposed.
I'm also bisexual, but have never experienced a relationship with a girl. This does not make me "confused", this does not make me "curious", this makes me a girl who happened to get into a long term relationship with a boy around the same time she became comfortable with coming out about her sexuality.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently in school full-time, for a field I care deeply about. Sure, I'm thousands of dollars in debt from student loans, but I'm quite okay with that.
And come October, I'll be able to turn that into a full time job I care deeply about.

I’m really good at

listening to other people's problems when they just want to vent, but I'm also great at giving friends reality checks when they've asked for them.

I'm also really great at silly things, like coloring children's books, baking banana nut bread, and finding hard-to-find music online.

The first things people usually notice about me

Truth be told...it's difficult to know what others notice about me first, since I'm not in their heads.
Probably that I'm quiet. I've always spent a great deal of time listening to other people talk; I don't always pipe up unless I really do have something to say.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Lord of the Rings, To Kill A Mockingbird, 1984, Harry Potter, Romeo and Juliet, Farenheit 451, My Sister's Keeper, The Other Boleyn Girl, The Twilight Saga, The Time Traveller's Wife, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Black Magician Trilogy, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, In the Woods

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (1,2,4,6), Pirates of the Caribbean, Spiderman 1 and 2, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Pocohantas, Mulan, Crash, What the Bleep Do We Know?, Princess Bride, K-Pax, I Am Sam, Tarzan, Radio, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Everything Is Illuminated, The Truman Show, Star Wars (the originals), The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Phantom of the Opera, Jumangi, Patch Adams, Down To Earth, 50 First Dates, Big Fish, Sliding Doors, Hidalgo, Zoolander, Hot Fuzz, The Day After Tomorrow, The Incredibles, Lady in the Water, The Number 23, Moulin Rouge, Wall-E, Amélie, Domino, Paris Je T'aime, 7 Pounds, Defiance

Music: I like mostly everything, you could give me polka music, and I'd give it a listen. I listen to lots of folk music lately- Iron & Wine, Ray LaMontagne, Sufjan Stevens, Mariee Sioux, etc. That's just been my recent mood.
I love movie soundtracks. Especially ones that are pure score, like Lord of the Rings.
Disney soundtracks are fun, too.
I LOVE world music. I have a lot of Celtic, but I also like Middle Eastern, African drums, chanting/meditation CDs, etc.

Food: Cajun food (give me some jumbalaya or chicken fricasée, and I'll be very happy), dessert, eating breakfast for lunch, having fruit on hand (especially citrus like oranges and grapefruit)

The six things I could never do without

You mean besides the obvious air, food, shelter, etc? I need books to read, the internet to waste time on, my two lovely cats, lots of natural sunlight, my best friends, and a healthy dose of imagination.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

your mom.

Oh, sorry, I know your mom jokes are old...but I can never resist!

I actually have never payed attention to what things I pay the most attention to. Interesting, non?
I'll have to actually pay attention now, and come back when I have some answers for you.

On a typical Friday night I am

at home?
I'm not really sure what a typical Friday is for me, I don't always pay attention to days of the week.
More than likely, I'm out with one or two friends, renting some movies, eating some food, or finding something fun to do, like dancing under the moon, or ghost hunting. Very casual, laid back stuff.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I can't think of anything particularly "private" to which I need to "admit". I'm a fairly open person, so if you ask me a question, I'll give you an answer.

You should message me if

-You've read this far!
-And you don't think I'm childish, boring, crazy, or some other adjective with a negative connotation.
-You want someone to talk to.
-You're a girl (guys, you can too! I'm just rather interested in girls at this very moment. I still have nothing against the penis.)
-And especially if you're okay with short-term relationships. Like I stated above, I just left a two year relationship. I'm not actively seeking out a relationship with that kind of commitment yet.
