Ah yes, the finding a job routine

Isn't it just so?

I could sit here and complain about my life, but the fact is, I got it pretty good, because I go out and I make something of myself instead of sitting around all the time.

This is why I am never on this freaky shit of a site. Woah mister, sure you've got a nice body, but can you beat me in battle ships? No? ...Not interested.

I've gone off topic. Silly me.

Anyway, the fact is I'm looking for work now. I hate the whole resume building process, my mind hurts from describing what I do for a crust, so I am unashamably taking the assertive passage.

If you work with youth and need help with anything, maybe you need a person to do the things you need doing, but have no time for, maybe you are looking for someone to just make a coffee, whatever.

I am that person. Use me and feel great about it. I'll work for as little as $20 an hour to answer your phone. Just let me see what it's like to do the work you do, inspire me to keep trying to reach the position you are in.

Seriously, I just want to see what it's like, to experience the 9 - 5 really helping youngsters connect and do things to show them they can do things.

I mean, look at me, I am seriously overqualified and able to do things, if there is anyone who could teach them this it is I.

I can do it, I am woman.

Were You Born on a Cusp?

Libra/Scorpio
October 19 to October 23

Libra is the seventh sign of the zodiac; Scorpio is the eighth. After Libra's intellectual exploration of other people, Scorpio's interest is in discovering other people's emotions and how they respond to the world around them. Scorpio is the sign of sex and death, the beginning and ending, and they explore these ideas from an emotional standpoint. Libra/Scorpios strive to create balance and harmony between self and other through investigation and probing. They are often strongly intuitive and penetrating. They have a need to be liked.

The astrological symbol of Libra is the Scales. Like the scales of justice, Librans are objective and just. They abhor unfairness and conflict, striving above all for peace; but at times they are easily deterred from their beliefs. Librans are able to see all sides of an argument, but as their mental scales sway back and forth, they may never find balance. The astrological symbol of Scorpio is the Scorpion. Like the mythical scorpion, those born under this sign tend to be strong-willed and wary of being controlled by others. In keeping with Libra's cardinal quality, Libra/Scorpios are diplomatic and cooperative; they are skilled at initiating group projects. They can be stubborn, refusing to give up when others have long since become bored and abandoned a project. Libra/Scorpios get things done when no one else thought it possible. In this way, the fixed quality of Scorpio is expressed. When Libra/Scorpios set goals for themselves, they are determined to succeed. They have their own agenda and work to achieve their desires.

Libra is ruled by the planet Venus. In ancient Roman mythology, Venus (and her Greek equivalent, Aphrodite) was the goddess of love, beauty and pleasure. She represented joy, happiness and appreciation of beautiful things. Scorpio is ruled by the planets Mars and Pluto. In ancient Roman mythology, Mars (and his Greek equivalent, Ares) was the god of war, and ancient astrologers assigned both Aries and Scorpio to this planet. Pluto (and his Greek equivalent, Hades) was the god of the underworld, and when the planet Pluto was discovered early in the 20th century, astrologers assigned Scorpio to it.

Libra/Scorpios are seductive and attractive, commanding and intense. Cultural awareness and a talkative nature help them shine in the social situations they so enjoy. The element associated with Libra is Air. The element associated with Scorpio is Water. Libra/Scorpios are skilled at communication and abstract reasoning, and their intelligence combines with their interest in others to become an intellectual exploration of those around them. They may repress their emotions, but underneath they are lusty and perceptive. Libra/Scorpios are motivated and loyal, but they are often misunderstood and may be seen as dictatorial or sarcastic. If they have an ulterior motive, they can be overbearing, but in a subtle, sly or manipulative way.

Libra/Scorpios are both mystical and scientific, a combination that makes them very aware of what is happening around them; they are a sign of great depth. If they aren't careful, though, their passionate nature may lead them into self-indulgence or compulsion. In their leisure time, Libra/Scorpios tend to have a definite lazy streak. However, this is barely perceptible because they also enjoy difficult pursuits that challenge them to excel, and they refuse to settle for being anything less than the best. They may have a particular affinity for activities that let them get out in nature.

In love relationships, Libra is playful, romantic and devoted. The great strength of the Libra/Scorpio-born is in their drive for peace and harmony and their determination to see things through to the end. Their skill at seeing all sides of a situation with great passion and strength makes them one of the most powerful characters of the zodiac.

I am the queen of swords. My own worst enemy

What Crowns You That which has gone before you, those past events and influences that have led you to this path

Queen of Swords Briefly: Her future lies in learning to trust others again.

In Detail... Physically usually (though not always) tall and/or slender woman. Quite often has dark hair. Refined appearance and conservative in dress most of the time. Gracious manner. She prefers sophisticated clothing. Personality is cautious and clever. Can be cunning, destructive and manipulative. She is often aloof and distant. She keeps her distance and puts up barriers around herself.

She displays an air of unemotional responses. She may appear hard, selfish and self-controlled. Beneath her facade she hides much previous emotional pain and/or hardship. She has learnt how to survive. She is a woman alone. She is either a widow, divorced, a spinster or without a loving partner. She may have spent a long time on her own and keeps up her defences and her sword drawn to protect her at all times. She has a fondness for red roses. She looks good in black clothing. She likes to wear expensive or perhaps antique and conservative jewellery most of the time, though sometimes she wears some bold jewels. She knows she would or could be seduced if she lets her guard down. She is not a social butterfly. She can seem to be unforgiving in some circumstances, but this is her self-defence mechanism being activated to avoid feeling pain and disturbing emotional reactions.

She cries in her sleep, and little elsewhere. She feels more in control if she can avoid having too deep feelings for anyone, lest they puncture her heart and give her reason to despair. She can become big hearted if in the right company and circumstances and when she feels safe and secure. There is hope for her and she is wise enough to know it. She is symbolic of the rose, seductive and potentially dangerous, capable of cutting the skin and making it bleed, yet the soft velvety petals can blossom into the most beautiful arrangement and captivate your heart. She is wistful and reflective, serious yet sensuous, yet always alert. She is capable of being the Goddess or the crucifier.

Occupations suited to her would be the head of a company or large organisation. Also she would make a great surgeon, doctor, police officer, dentist or anything that involves the use of sharp items or weapons. She would make a good soldier, warrior, fighter or leader of a revolution. She knows only one truth, her own. Her future lies in learning to trust others again. She has been severely betrayed in the past by women and men alike. She may need to take a leaf out of the book of the Queen of Cups, who is more giving, loving and affectionate.

She could have a love relationship but only if total trust exists. There is no room for dishonesty or lies. If she is betrayed, she severs her relationships completely and irrevocably and never goes back. Friends are cast off and not seen again should they make the mistake to betray or abuse her. Her goodwill only stretches so far and behind that she may lose some of her sense of compassion, knowing that others should learn to be more self-reliant, like herself. She may go to the extreme of cutting off her husband's head, should he betray or deceive her.

Querent's card. If this is you, then you may be being called to meet the challenge of your strengths and you will meet this head on regardless of whether this produces success or failure. Even in failure, you will learn where you went wrong and this is the ultimate lesson. If you are not the querent and this card appears, I suggest that you make an ally of this woman, because she can be a powerful opponent if you should cross her. She is loyal and steadfast to those she gets close to, just don't mess with her, because you will wish you hadn't.

- This is a song I'm working on.. It reflects me pretty well, so I'm posting it here..

This is the truth
I'm poison vermouth
You may want to touch me, you may want to taste me
But I'm 100% proof.

I'll burn your skin
If you let me in
I'll shackle your head, to the center of the bed
If you want to sin.

Still wanna let me in?
Still wanna let me in?

I'm covered in scars
My brain is from mars
You might find it mysterious but I'm broken
And there you are.

Can you handle the deep?
Can you help me sleep?
I might want you now, but I wont want you when you become a creep

So do you want more?
I'll show you my flaws
And you might want me now, but my head will become a chore

Embarrassed to be
Exactly like me
Extreme to the maximum level
Volume is me.

Doo doo doo
Dee dee dee
When will I learn to just sit and be with me?
I could hold my own hand
I could be my own man
But as if that is fun when your stuck being one
A no-man's land

a butterfly is caught in a spiderweb. you are...?

a butterfly is caught in a spiderweb. you are most likely to:
  • set the butterfly free
  • allow the spider to eat the butterfly

I find this somewhat interesting.. For the sake of this question, and your curiosity I will admit that I wont save the butterfly.

But, I'd like to know why OK CUPID see's that as a harsh attitude, when the spider is given an opportunity to have a meal. The circle of life might seem harsh to some people, but I don't think we've really got a choice whether or not the spider gets the butterfly. To meddle with the "butterfly affect" as it were, is something I find truly crazy. Hey, you may say.. The butterfly deserves a chance.. And the spider does not?

That alone is a debate waiting to happen. Would you feel the same way if it was cockroach? Probably not.. So is the issue that you wish to savour and help those who are more physically beautiful, or do you just think the butterfly is more important than the roach?

I'd really like to know why another creature is more important than the next.

Awkward investigation into the minds of fellow Cupid's. Ahoy hoy.
