I love being active, which means walking, exploring, swimming and playing sports.

Music is my main passion in life. I'm a vinyl DJ and have an extensive, diverse music collection which covers almost every genre you can think of. It's imperative to me that I find a partner who shares this passion. Listing bands/artists is somewhat futile as I seem to want to change the list almost daily, but recently I've been listening to a lot of folk, blues and reggae. And Nick Cave.

I have an extremely friendly cat who I love to bits and will not sacrifice for anyone. He sleeps on my bed - you must be ok with that. If you're allergic or really don't like cats it could be a deal-breaker.

During winter months I like to play pool, watch movies and cuddle.

Books: bleh, I like to educate myself but I have concentration issues.

Movies: all sorts from Pixar to Kubrick. I generally dislike stoner comedies and tacky horror films but otherwise I have reasonably diverse tastes. Big soft spot for Human Traffic and In Bruges. I love films with a powerful and inspirational message like Hotel Rwanda and The Shawshank Redemption.

Shows: don't watch much TV. When I do it's usually comedy, science, nature or music.

Music: crikey, as above, I just don't know where to start. I'll list a few random bands and artists I love: The Waterboys, Damian Marley, Nick Drake, Roots Manuva, Muddy Waters, Talking Heads, Neil Young, Fleet Foxes, Elmore James.

Food: I adore food and love to eat out. It's horribly predictable but I love spicy food and good beer (especially Belgian). I also like to cook.
