Big butt. Bigger heart.
What I’m doing with my life
Psychology degree. Prowling east London. In a phase of self-conscious theoretical development, so if you are anarcho-feminist or socialist let's talk!
I’m really good at
One-liners, making myself up like a drag queen, singing along, reading people. Changing my hair. Being kind of loud.
The first things people usually notice about me
Stupid hair and big earrings. When I talk, my Canadian accent. 99% of the people who come up to me at bars/message me on here say something along the line of 'nice tats.' Don't be that person.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like reading comic books (Tank Girl!! Obviously, Charles Burnes, Transmet, Bitchplanet, Saga, Rat Queens, Big Man Plans, Spaceriders, anything by Daniel Clowes, etc) but I also enjoy Amy Hempel, Mary Robinson, Angela Carter, Marquis de Sade, Hunter S. Thompson, Anais Nin, Naomi Wolf, and art books. I have been pretty restricted in my reading materials as I read a LOT of textbooks and Psychology journals for my course, but at the moment I'm reading Carrie Brownstein's autobiography 'Hunger Makes me a Modern Girl.' (edit: finished book, fast read, but she does love her fancy descriptive words. Now reading a book on women drummers by Angela Smith)
Movies, I'm into John Waters, Tarantino, Ridley Scott, David Lynch, Cronenberg, Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Hitchcock, etc..
In lieu of a list of bands, I decided it would be fun to document what happens when my phone is on shuffle. A kind of impromptu mixed tape. Are you ready?

That got kinda long because it was actually quite fun. Also, cute that Brody Dalle and Josh Homme played one after the other. Romance.
I love spicy food, (I literally cook things in hot sauce, mmmm, mouth fire). I will give anything a try as long as it doesn't have any dead animals in it. Favourites are definitely Mexican, Japanese, and Thai. But I'm pretty happy with pizza and beer.
The six things I could never do without
a little dance
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I'm gonna cook later, have the X files have really managed to make me believe in aliens? I mull over theories in my head a lot and often come out with some long winded psychological explanation for something that is loosely related to what we're discussing, which makes me sound like a nerd or a pompous cunt but I'm OK with both.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having four straight hours of lectures and then drum lessons. If I have energy to see you on a Friday night I probably really like you.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I kinda hate meeting people off the internet. It's awkward. Also, I've superglued my phone back together not once but twice.
You should message me if
You aren't afraid of a woman with serious sass mouth.
You would be interested in grabbing a drink/coffee/spliff or all three (I like to call it a stoner speedball)
You live in other parts of the world and want international friends for travelling and general perspective-gathering
You are in NYC or surrounding and want to fuel my obsession with the city and the many babes within it.
