i love music, mainly indie and folk. try to go to as many gigs as poss.
love festivals, especially when it's sunny :) i read (not suprising
considering that i'm an english teacher). being with friends...

dancing. parties are cool, random ones. pubs, bars, dodgy indie
dives on a saturday night.
i guess i'm just looking for someone with similiar interests to share the highs and lows with. i guess opposites do attract, but they rarely last. just hoping to find someone reasonably intelligent and fairly easy on the eye :) it's not too much to ask surely?!!

What I’m doing with my life
workwise, i teach english at a secondary school. i enjoy it 90% of
the time, the other 10% is compensated by the fact that i get 13
weeks a year holiday :)

one of my favourite novels is 'the beach' by alex garland (although i appreciate that it's not particularly 'high-brow'!), love hanif kureishi's 'buddha of suburbia', ian mcewan can generally be relied upon to entertain.
music:
anything with a melody... ryan adams, the shins, delays, brighteyes, patrick wolf, lightspeed champion, the libertines, teenage fanclub, suede, bernard butler, fionn regan, get cape. wear cape. fly., guillemots, gene, the strokes, albert hammond jr, belle and sebastian, beck, brian jonestown massacre, the coral, the divine comedy, super furry animals, kings of leon, band of horses, jesse malin, fleet foxes, css, friendly fires... etc.
