I'm a simple girl. I like simple pleasures. Raindrops on the window, crunchy leaves underfoot, and snuggling in front of a fireplace.
I'm not complicated, and you will never find 'shopping' on the top of my list of favorite things.

I am a film-buff, for the most part. I love movies of all sorts- but most especially horror and action.
Romantic-Dramatic film is not my favourite, especially if it is Nicholas Sparks-based... But I can be persuaded if you've got a recommendation.

I work in the hospitality/service industry, and in my spare time I do makeup and special effects for local film productions.

I love dogs, beards, music, intellect, and art in all its forms.

At this point in time, I'm looking for my counterpart in someone else. Someone who will try new recipes with me, and eat it even if it looks terrible. Someone who won't mind when I get caught up in something crazy like a new television series- and will jump in with me. Also- someone who can teach me new things. I'm always up for learning something!

Right now, I'm working really hard at living in the present.
I have a good job, and I'm a happy person- so I must be doing something right.

I make a wicked pasta putanesca (which translates to 'whore pasta, apparently). I love to cook all sorts of things, but I suppose that pasta is my favorite and most delicious meal to make.

I'm good at sarcasm. I think that if it were an art, I'd be somewhat akin to the 'Banksy' of sarcasm.

Aaaaand I'm really good at dealing with stress. I am a very centered individual who sees the positive side to everything. Silver linings are my specialty.

Movies: the fall. The fly (with jeff goldblum). American psycho. Saw. Indiana Jones. Alien. Ghostbusters. Anything superhero related. Quentin Tarantino movies. Tim Burton movies. Anything not including Nicolas cage...

Tv: walking dead. American horror story. Modern family. Seinfeld. The office. Parks and recreation. 30 rock.
