My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've never lost my sense of wonder in the pursuit of a balanced life. Working in video and film taps the creative in me while volunteering as a crisis and grief counselor, as well as a soccer coach, furthers my commitment to community and youth advocacy. Upbeat, positive and fearless in leaping at the spontaneous detours life has a way of throwing in front of you...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Embracing every moment...challenging my creativity...making an effort to touch the lives of others with a positive, upbeat outlook, honesty, integrity, a sense of humor, thoughtfulness while acknowledging, valuing and supporting the best in those I encounter every day...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being a dad...a best friend...a confidant...a coach...a surprising cook...

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
thought I filled this out only to discover that my response has vanished...have a pretty expansive and diverse range of interests in books, movies and music...suffice it to say have just cracked open Fooling Houdini by Alex Stone, with Martel's Life of Pi, Keith Richards Life and Troost's The Sex Lives of Cannibals in various stages of page turning on the nightstand...anything by Bryson, SoccerHead and probably one of my favorite summer rereads is McCammon's Boy's Life, along with Stand Back Said The Elephant I Am Going To Sneeze (if you know the reference)...too many movies to mention but always seem to stop, sit and watch Remember The Titans, Mumford, The Shawshank Redemption, The Transporter, The Incredibles, The Iron Giant and White Christmas if they are playing...and always willing to try just about anything when it comes to cuisines and food combinations that tempt the tastebuds...

Recent TV favorites: Justified, Suits, Elementary, NCIS, The Daily Show and watching TED online
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
the family and friends I hold close
sharing love
a relentless belief that life is pretty wonderous
unbridled fun
and whatever else I can get away with
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
every day deserves an adventure...what a sustainable world might look like...that my kids will touch their dreams... and the amazing transformative power of music and dance across all divides in briniging people together...kudos to Playing for Change and Where the Hell is Matt...that life remains a work in progress much like this posting...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
...judging from the responses of most here to this prompt, it seems counter intuitive to admit something private to the world at large. More likely shared in the natural evolving connection with someone on a more intimate level...

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
